anyway,my problem that the bike couldnt crank turns out to be,no petrol went into the carburator..or something like that..kinda of a weird problem..cos at first i thot maybe air filter wet..let it dry by itself..left there for 2 days..then still cannot..so brought my friend over..hear the sound like no petrol going in..then he tried the fuel line..unplug,check the fuel lever for petrol come out..then put back..then the bike can liaoz..i also dun noe wat's wrong..

Hi guys, Im thinking of selling my 1996 rs250 to get a new 2003 one. The bike is in good condition.

 

Top overhaul just done and have not begun to run it in yet. So new owner gets to do his own run in. Shox in good order, no leaking seals.

 

Im selling it for 4k NEG. Let me know if you are interested. No point to say mileage here as once top overhaul done, considered as reset.

 

Btw bike has its coe renewed til 2013 so you dont have to worry for the next 8 years. Insurance for 25 yr old with 20%NCD is $480.

so it's d petrol... mayb ya tank is filled wif particles.. hence the occasional lack of flow of petrol to d carb...

 

wat i suggest is to dismantle the tank and give it a good rinse to empty all d particles in it.. and next wud be using a compress air gun to blow into the petrol tube to clear d fuel meter/lever or wateva tat is call..

Whew.....

Just got back from the Motard Prix at Kallang....

 

Gave out pens, keychains, t-shirts, caps, and surprise, surprise - 2T and gear oil!

 

Too bad none of you went down to support... It was drizzling a little bit and we got to see alot of racers fall and crash into each other. Even had a little drama when a rider kicked the lead rider and caused the lead rider to fall. Later when race ended a scuffle nearly broke out.... tsk tsk

 

Actually quite a blessing in disguise, because I dont think any Aprilia rider here would actually brave a drizzle just to take 3-4 bottles of 2T and gear oil each.... Better to stay home where its safe and warm and dry...

 

Anyway, it was quite fun meeting many different people there. An acquaintance of mine even took part in the 2-stroke cub race. She's the only girl racer there and boy, can she ride.... Fiercest girl rider I've seen. Well, considering she rides an F4.... Some more she quite jude, got model height somemore, still can chiong.....

I feel so useless... Next Aprilia Cup in Sepang must take part liao...

Ermmm.. mister lawry.. Me, Ben(Visor) and Andre(CMYRS) and Andy(kron) were there at about 11plus to about 12plus i think.. i called your handphone twice but could not get through.. i even asked ur partner, Faizal at the booth where are you, he also said dunno where you are, he can be witness to my attendance.

And we DID brave the drizzle to hang around and watch the race a little bit before heading off for lunch. So for proving you wrong, i think you owe me, ben, andy and andre the freebies you gave out today which we will go collect at ntrust on another day??
