ey guys what kind of sprockets are good and chain also? whats the normal type and the rough price???

You can use stock Aprilia sprockets - stock sizing is 17 teeth for the front, 40 for the rear. As for chains, you can go with an O-ring 520 - DID or something equivalent. Can't remember the price for this stuff - just over $100 for sprockets I think, no idea for chains.

ok i checked with Ah Boy tis afternoon, full set of metal sprockets and DID 520 O ring chain, it cost 170$ inclusive of installation.

DID O ring chain 428 cost 70$++

spidey recommend AFAM sprockets for durability and Renthal sprockets for performance and X ring for chain.

AFAM lightweight but not cheap, Renthal reportedly not durable, X-ring supposedly durable but not cheap :cheeky:

Eyz, you going for legal arrow as well ah? Cant believe that LAB charge so cheap for the tires. Was quoted 250 by a bike workshop.

Anybody here got any idea how much does the 520 DID O-ring cost?

I am not a mechanic, I might be wrong. So, please check with others!

Just wanted to ask, is there any reason why you guys want to use a 520,525 chain?

Always be prepared.

LL no choice..

I managed to find the cheapest tires @ LAB for only 190$.

He charged me 5$ for labour.

listenin to spidey's recommendation.. i got the Dunlop GPR 70, 110/70 and 140/60

the tires were very new, 2205 and 2305 for front and rear respectively

good deal, i wud say.

Workmanship wise, i wud say it's quite reliable, cept for my dirty rims.

afam gold sprocket is slightly heavy but more durable than rental... reantal very light but wear and tear very high... xring chain super durable but i suggest u guys change to 428 sizes for rs125... lighter with more power and responds for a cheaper cost too!
