Being a bike enthusiast means different things to different people. If it means mainly riding to the dam and meeting socially, please don't take it that I'm looking down on that in any way. But but but, how do you expect us to discuss technical issues when we're at the dam? Are we supposed to remove our carburetors there and do performance tuning next to the water? Because that's what many of the rest of us like to do, and that kind of activity is just more suited to void decks, car parks, etc. We all have different needs mah

Er, was that good enough? I can do a more cheem version if you'd like Being petty means doing something to get back at someone. Eg, "Heh, I'm gonna remove you as a mod to get back at you for making me cry! There, take that! Hahaha!" However, one of the reasons you were removed was to protect our reputation. Sia suay lah If I wanted to petty and try and embarrass you, I'd have announced it everywhere! But, er, you did it yourself leh

I've spend the past few days really thinking and talking to other people before posting.. So pls bear with me while i just say what i have thought over as carefully as possible..

 

Dear Chris,

 

Just would like to clear something up with you with regards to your post. About Alan's queries and mine involving the term "seniors", I'm glad you found a ideal word to suit us all.. But i wonder why is it that Servo has to decide who are the "seniors" previously(with regards to being around for some time and being serious with Aprilia) when he himself has disappeared from the scene for so long? That was one of the things that pissed me off the most. And add that to the fact that you gleefully replied to his post cementing the fact that you consider youself to be one of his "seniors", pissed me off further.. I expected you to atleast invite the rest of us, but you didnt then.. You got your Aprilia on 14 feb 05 while i got mine June 05.. Just 4 months of difference... So if we went according to the old system, i'd be a senior in 4 months wont I? Since you are a senior now? All these were the things runnning through my head when i read the posts by you and Servo..

 

Remember that time when we all went to Banana Leaf Apollo for lunch? There were no seniors whatever nonsense.. Just bunch of guys who love Aprilia.. I wish we could have that again..

 

And pls explain to me what you mean as high profile as me.. I truly dont understand that.. Does that mean that i boast alot or something? I dont know. And i questioned your intentions regarding the club, not only yours, but all the seniors because i didnt see you guys doing anything when i did my share to help people.. Nothing about who help more.. That is plain childish... What as that got to do with anything? did i ever make noise about you guys not following us to dam? I never arrange outings to dam, i just go with the flow most of the time.. And regardless of what you might say about not looking down, most of the guys who do hang out at the dam know you and the rest of your clique dislike them.. It's as simple as that, no point denying that.. Chilling at the dam might not be your cup of tea, heck even i got bored of it.. But pls, many times, technical stuff have been discussed at the dam.. Not jus talking nonsense.. Anyway, different people have different needs, i fully agree..

 

One thing i like to highlight is that this is NOT the Aprilia Riders Club forum. It's a thread for Aprilia riders on SBF. So pls, those who care so much, anyone can post watever they want here.. And Chris, I fully understand that you have the right to take me off as a Mod on the ARC forum even though i did not bring this arrangement there... But pls, if you wanted to do it quietly, you could have taken the goddamn effort to atleast PM me over there and explain your precautionary reasons? You didnt even PM me to tell me, i had to realise myself.. I know i act as a country brute, but i expected some courtesy from you! No PM nothing to tell me.. Your actions were like backstabbing i tell you, even though you might not have meant it.. And i dont really believe you discussed it with the other Mods, you just decided for yourself i'm sure.. So pls, dont give me the nonsense that you wanted to save me face.. And dont forget, it's beacuse of me that Malaysian riders are visiting our forum now.. i advertised our very own forum in other Aprilia forums.. Then again, everyone is expendable.. You dont need me, it's ok..

 

 

Lastly, I want to tell everyone..

You know it yourselves.. We are divided.. A.R.C or whatever is just a bunch of little cliques.. or rather 2 cliques.. I would really like it if everyone came together and made this club work.. as ONE.. I have lost respect for quite afew people now.. But my respect for people like Alan, Chinguan, and afew others have increased. In my books, these guys are the ones that i would like to have to spearhead this club.. Let's all put this behind us, and move on.. And once again, sorry to everyone for my hot headness and vulgar language.. I'm trying to change.

 

PS Chris, Mike, Wan.. Pls look at Jazzyme's signature.. That picture of afew of us.. that is Aprilia Riders Club.. but only five of us there still ride Aprilia.. That is unity dudes.. Bunch of people who love hanging out together, having fun together.. That is a club to me.. I'll leave you guys to the technical discussions to enjoy.. I'd pick these people any day.. They accept anyone, regardless of bike or knowledge..
