OK Guys regarding the BBQ thing frankly speaking, even though I'm working I still feel that $30 for a BBQ it's too ex liao. We can have a very much better food outside with this price and without so troublesome and have to prepare his and that. I'm of course fully support this idea of having a gathering. But paying this price I will have to think twice

 

Anyway, sevrpax have said that he might able to get Mah to support us with this kind of function. Why not check with him first before we decided to see if we can get their sponsor.

 

And for the Charity thing, Dannis I think this is kind of stupid la. You want over collect the money liao then go and donate to the charity. You got nothing better to do ha? Give me the money la. haha OK joke aside. If we got surplus of money, just get a treasurer, keep the money and we can use it for the next outing. Simple? but still, no over charging OK?

I was thinking of those ppl paying to come for the event then when we have surplus, if we keep it as our fund, ppl will tend to have talks about it which I dont think anyone wants to bear the responsibilities. WE are open to the discussions n any good intentions are mostly welcome. What if the amount we collected is not enough? Thats my worry.... So why not have a show of names first n we have a rough calculation of the expenses n we finalise the amount to be collected from each individual. Getting bike shop to sponsor is a good thing but how many of u actually wants it?

and of course, age matters, you already mentioned that 3rd party for TA150, which is a "lazy-riding" bike, is already $636, you can expect more for an RS125. just think about it: which bike gives a better 0-100km/h timing? better cornering performance? better stopping distance? all these things are what the insurers take into consideration when they come up with the premium values.

Guys, i'm so damn sad now .. Went down to Mah today and guess wad they told me ?? Aprilla '06 model has been banned by LTA. WT* laa .. My heart sanked like Titanic man .. So i intend to get the '05 model instead lorh.

 

Here's the price the guy gave me:

$12,250 on the road. Inclusive of TPFT insurance, liciense number plate, free upgrade to arrow pipe (legal), raincoat + helmet/ raincoat + bike cover.

 

I need some comments on this price leii .. Ytd i think dannis or who recommended my to go look for Dylan. I cant rmb who the guy is but can you please pm me or reply to this thread so that you can get a better price for me?? Thanks =))

 

Lastly for the bbq, if you all are holding it in June, by then i'll get my Aprilia already, but if you guys instend to hold it on a earlier date den i need someone to pillion me liao lorh. Jonathan543 rides a Cagiva Planet but if he busy cannot pillion me there den i really need someone else to help me le. =(( I very light only laa, hope you guys dun mind cos i really wanna go on a outing with you all.

Hey bro, like what i posted just now, i went to check it out at Mah today, they say stop importing for Singapore liaox. Cos LTA ban le. So sad lorh. And the guy told me in coming years, only kup kias will be imported so guys i suggest we all take good care of our sports bike as i think the prices will rise next few years once the production stops.

Hahas dats why i say get the '05 model ma. Den maintain it in very good condition, treat it better than yu treat anything else. Then when 2 stroke bike are rare ppl will start to admire you ma. Erm, downpayment is only 10% nia. And ya you need a garuntor but i dun think your garuntor have to pay anything unless you owe them instalments lorh. You also intending to get the '05 model?? Lets get it asap man !!!

jus think about it.. when they said the 06 model is banned, ya immediately changed ya mind to a 05 model... if everyone acts like ya.. they'll soon clear all their old stocks and ready to take in the new stocks..

 

i dun see much difference of the 06 model in terms of the engine specs..

But In My Opinion, assuming that you still very young and with your riding experience (if you just got your licence), with First party insurance, legal arrow & helmet, $12 500 can consider very good price liao. But if you really want to know more about the 06 model then like what eyz suggest to you write in to LTA or Aprilia Italy to find out more.
