u guys really make me drool aprilia :)

btw i think singapore poly fc3 there(street soccer court) there got only 1 aprilia rider. wonder if he also from SBF?

anyway i guess i will still head for rs direction cause i got to trust u guys cause u are the pros and had done it. cant always hear comments from other riders who nv ride rs. cause i found out that non rs riders tend to discourage ppl from riding rs saying wat ex so i think its still best to get feedbacks from aprilia riders :)

I got the same problem also, I need to switch on the beam for powerful headlight.

The problem is not you can afford it or not, is how are you going to make yourself able to afford it.

Hi guys, i've got a question regarding the tyres of rs..

my tyres were 100/80 front & 130/70 rear..but when i changed tyres last week,

the mech put 90 & 120 on my bike..suddenly the bike feels too responsive!

can anyone tell me if it's ok to continue using the new tyres or must i stick to the old ones?

Posted

my 8th month old rs125 has clouded headlights already too, and it can't really be helped unless u wanan pry open the headlight cover and reglue back with epoxy resin glue. i've seen i other forums where they did that to clean up the headlights back to normal.

for tyres, best is to use the manufacturer's tyre size. using other sizes is not really good for ur bike, especially smaller ones.

Better to be loved, than to hate...

technical stuff...my favourite...hehe

For the tyres, default sizes are

110/70 for front

150/60 for rear

According to the manual, the smallest u should go are

100/80 for front

130/70 for rear

dun go lower than that coz if u do, your tyre's profile will become very flat and it will not give u a lot of grip in corners

i suggest u use finish first la, since tyres are very expensive

but dun corner too much...

Yeap, I am thinking of having a headlight cleaning session at a void deck(preferrably servo's place) or some space. We can share the price for the resin if u guys want

hows that?

in the meanwhile, i'll do some research on wat resin to use...hehe

decided to make full use of this long weekend to try out my rs pipe (old one with carbon fibre end can).

swopped with milo (big heavy cow as compared to the rs pipe), went to nearby motortiam for carb tuning (the uncle see my pipe :nono: ) and then brought it out for a spin

result : breath-taking (think i forgot to breathe as the rpm needle approaches the red line) the freaking bike pulls like nv b4. in neutral when revved hard, the bike twitched as if a beast is struggling to be released from under the fairing. gd exercise for my rpm needle as it can stretch past 8k for once

but then all gd things have to come to an end. changed back to milo as i felt that it was too stressful to look out for TP everytime i'm on the rd. sigh.. so sad... why can't the rs pipe be approved for our older bikes.... haiiiiiiiiiiii

ps. wonder if u peeps noticed something like a little girl proning on the ground at the top left of the pic in the background. :giddy: hope its just a plant..................

Thanks, you guys.....

Believe nothing you hear; and only half of what you see.

Do or do not; there is no 'try'.
