Hello fellow riders !!

Could someone pls help me ?!

I got my 2b liscense a few days ago, and I am eager to go and get a second hand bike.

Now, I know that there are millions of posts about "what bike to get" blabla....

My quesitons is, what other 200cc bikes are there, except the phantom ?!

I mean, I like the Phantom, but my problem is....everybody has one. Everywhere I look, I see Phantoms.

So you guys have any other 200cc bikes in mind, which are to have in singapore ?

Thx alot dudes, peace and thanks :thumb:

I would like to know wether there are other 200cc bikes besides the phantom. :bounce:

I know about the Honda nsr sp and cbr etc

But I am 190cm, so I think that these "small" sportsbikes are a bit too small for me and that, when I will ride for a longer distance, my back will be under extreme pain :giddy:

Hope that there are other nice cruisers out there for me.

cruiser wise i not too sure..

but vespa there's a PX200 if i'm not wrong..

u try considering a runner, cagiva planet or a scrambler for ya height..

PS: i got a fren quite big size and ride an SP and it does indeed looks funny from behind.. but the fact is, r u riding for others to see or for urself?

The runner and the vespa is definitly Not for me ! I'm not into such things.

As for the Cagiva, I absolutely love it! Does someone know how much a second hand cagiva planet would cost ?!?!

I hope some one can tell me, because I have never seen a cagiva in singapore before !

Thx

You should consider the Varadero XL125V since you are 190m and above. You will definitely not look stupid. Only cons is the bike lacks power but it is the biggest in the 2B class, relatively problem free and a long distance cruiser.

ok, thx !

I will check out the varadero.

As for the ktm200: I sure like the power of dirt bikes, but I just don't like the looks of them. No offence to dirt bike riders !!

And by the way, can anyone tell me, if this is a good price for the bike:

Thx again dudes, Jan

PS: someone know other 200cc bikes other than the phantom and all kinds of dirt bikes ? :thumb:

X9 is another big 200cc bike you might consider.

Aiyo !!

Aren't there any 'real' bikes with 200cc ?!?! I don't like scooters oder these piaggio things, no offence :thumb:

I guess I will have to chose between the cagiva planet (first I need to know engine wise how good) and the honda nsr and the phantom.

So thanks men, aprecaited your help, reporting back in, when i bought my bike :cheer:

harlow ppl !

can someone pls make a list, which has all the 200cc bikes ?!?

Because I am quite eager of getting a 200cc bike.....I have to get the maximum out of the crappy 2b license !!

So if anyone would be so kind and just name the bikes that have 200cc, that would be just great !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

thx in advance, Jan the Janitor :thumb:

bike capacity doesn't equate to enjoyment from the bike, really. if you're not in a hurry to start riding, maybe you can take your time to find out more. :)

some things to think of:

1. 2 stroke or 4 stroke --- a 2 stroke bike makes much more power than a 4 stroke, but generally will cost more money to run. not always, just generally.

2. some bikes just get you from place to place. others have special functions. sportsbikes are fast, and take corners pretty good. scramblers can go off-road, or if you put road-wheels, you can ignore kerbs and humps. (scramblers/motards are the most fun, IMHO) scooters are practical and easy to ride.

3. each bike is different. you can categorise but ultimately there're so many variables for each bike, that each model can be very different from the next.

have fun finding out :)

all i have to say is: do take a look at scramblers... (e.g. suzuki DR200, honda XR200, yamaha WR200, etc) they're cool because you can put boxes on them, ignore bumps/humps, sit high up and have a good view of what's ahead, and you can go off-road if you want (and i highly recommend it, very fun! =D ).
