check out this shop called ISS Mart Products P/L at Block 3004, Ubi Ave 3, #01-90 (near TP building).

They sell lots of 3M products including the 3M CF (DI-NOC) films that're used on cars too. From my friend, the CF sheet is going at about $60 per yard (width is about 1.2m)

Best to warm up till 2 bars then move off especially in the morning. But not many ppl got the patience.

 

3 bars is optimal riding temp.

 

4 bars... bike is sick.

Alamak!

I was so busy stressing my brains out on my forks for the past couple of months that I forgot to do 1 thing for the coming trip.

 

Very worried my tummy will force (flip) me to float facing up all the time and cannot snorkel or swim properly.

Actually hor, the best ride in my experience is after a short break.

Example:

1. Warmup the bike or ride for a short while then off the engine.

2. Start again after a few minutes break or short rest

 

Don't know why.

how's the unit?

the 500/550 are basic models which doesn't have new features such as bluetooth or junction view. it is waterproof and has a hardy body, much better than the fragile but bigger screened car types. navigation wise, its slower than the new for car models (e.g. garmin 1-series) but it is good enough to bring me around. best of all, it allows me to use free map updates from malfreemaps

i was using a non-waterproof car set but lots of hassle when it drizzles or light rain. no diff during downpour coz won't be able to see much on either set then.

Most of the time I have 02 Navigators with me on trips.

They will handle all the new toys. hehe.

i'm using disposable black trash bags, there're thicker ones available

 

still undecided about FF or OF, but likely OF coz this season is wet, but darn warm. this trip no need to ride fast coz not doing all the way up to sadao
