While I'm on my trip these 2 weeks, please take a look at the itinerary for next year's Songkran at Koh Samui.

I've limited it to max 8 bikes (unless those going agree to allow more). Haha, don't know whether got so many going boh? Scarly only the same 3 Musketeers... plus 1 honeymoon couple...

1st come 1st serve.

PM me if you're really interested.

I'll start activate the plan when numbers are reached or latest 31 Dec 2010.

Last count got only 2 more bike slots left.

2017

11 - 25 Nov - 15D, Taiwan - Fly and Scoot

2018

7 - 15 Apr - 9D, Phuket and Hatyai Songkran

17 Nov to 2 Dec - 16D, North East Thailand (Issan)

2019

30 Mar to 7 Apr - 9D Korea/Jeju Fly and Ride

8 - 24 Nov - 16D, Mae Hong Son

Hi bro, where you bought from? Home Fix or?

can get at many places, including Giant, Autobacs, some petrol stations, etc. but prices differ.

Autobacs sometimes got good deal but for BIG bottles  normal bottles, i got mine at Giant.

Bro,sometimes is quite difficult to start the bike after pressing the brakes. Why?My bike is only 2 weeks old!

after depressing the left brake level (you may hear a faint click sound) and then pressing the start button, did you hear the starter motor sound?

if totally no sound, maybe:

... didn't depress left brake level enough to activate the start mode (note that usually need to depress quite hard for new bikes; easier when seasoned cos no more "virgin" liow ); or

... defect in start mode switch; or

... a fuse is blown (but unlikely as sometimes able to start); or

... defect in starter motor (but unlikely as sometimes able to start), etc

if got motor trying to start sound but unable to start, maybe:

... battery is weak (rare for a few weeks old new bike); or

... spark plug got problem (e.g. water, not connected properly, etc),

... hopefully not the ECU or injector issues, etc

since only 2 weeks old, why not ride down to boon siew for a checkup... FOC mah :p

 someone steal my throttle rocker this morning when i return to my SW... :( :sian:

luckily its the cheap rocker that's being borrowed, not your top box. my neighbor's H&P top box got borrowed at causeway point after only 1+ week of use :faint:

that's why not advisable to put flashy or expensive things on the bike, easy to be "borrowed".

not a cruise control but simply a plastic clipped onto the right hand throttle which allows the rider to use his palm to press-turn the throttle instead of grip-turn.

very useful for long distance riding as it prevents the "death grip" problem or palm muscle cramps.

http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/21BZTPWE9ML._SL160_AA160_.jpg

cheap ones available from LAB for $3~$5 depending on whether he likes your face

useful it is, but also has risks. users gotta make sure the extra piece dun get caught with their long sleeved riding jackets, or obstructed by the palm when closing the throttle (happens when angle is set too high)... especially when e-braking is required.

bracket for SW gotta buy separately... best if RAM mounts have specific models for the GPS, else gotta mod/fabricate something to fit.

reading street directory in sinkapor ok lah... so small island, proper roads with clearly marked road names/signs. hollan also can find way out easily.

different when at m'sia or tongyum land. unlike topo experts like SW9000, topo idiots like me sure go hollan one, gps is to save me from hollan in some dunno what place

i started using gps after i went hollan in kangaroo land, spent hours in some valley driving around with a map, almost ran out of petrol. really bad experience, a gps would have saved my headache then. that's when i decided to pay a little for the convenience n "security" :p
