I saw from the website Givi E55 Tech and E55 Maxia2. Whats the difference ah?

Is it just the colour? Cos tech has clear base reflectors with matt black box.

 

i also not sure wor, but see here see there like looks and specs the same, only colour difference nia.. but the Givi E55 Tech looks nicer ar...

I'm not sure if any of you are also keen in the shocks but he did told me plus plus should be around $400 a pair.

So if you are keen, drop me a PM and the cut off date for ordering will depends if we can hit the figure of 5 sets.

I considered ordering 1 so need 4 more. Just a note, might need to pay that guy in full first but dun worry everyone knows him haha.

yss hmm, i'm a noob so not too sure. i guess more will means slightly cheaper. cheaper will only be 10 or 20 difference ba. Hagon alot of them are using so far so good. No one from the group has tried Bitubo yet.

Yeah,looks nice to me also! I am so sick on the top-box because since I got my bike with the free Kappa K46,the lock jam on the 5th day....I went back to the shop to change for a bigger K52 with some top-up,i thought a bigger or maybe it will be better one,i paid 200 bucks to top-up.But after 3 weeks,the lock jam again!I can't lock it,FxxK it!Lousy Kappa!Can it be repair? Or trade in for the 3rd one?God!....

Any guru had change their front windshield to a bigger or those for touring type?Like those on the upgraded ones on the STs or GWs?I think it will be good when it rains and block the rain especially during rainy seasons.Which brand to recommend?From where?Thanks....

FxxK it!Lousy Kappa!Can it be repair? Or trade in for the 3rd one?God!....

forget abt dumping more $$ to upgrade to another kappa, you're still stuck with the lousy kappa lock problem... its like from curry to tong-yum, still hot soup

 

if its me, i'ld cut loss and quickly sell the kappa when its still new. if 45L is sufficient, best buy is the givi simply with brake lights costs only around $110~$130, cheaper if no brake lights. need bigger and willing to up $$? go for coocase S48 (basic model abt $180+ include installation) or givi maxia E52 (mat black model with brake lights abt $330 include metal base plate, excl. installation). willing to up even more $$$? go for the givi maxia 3 E55 or the premium H&B boxes

u can order ermax windshield from motoworld kaki bukit or givi from mah pte ltd (serangoon); both are taller and slightly wider.

 

think about this... it blocks wind and rain, but it also block your vision when cluttered.

 

* surface tension on the acrylic shield gathers water droplets and "disfigures" the rider's view through it (SW has no wipers like the adiva), plus the droplets on our helmet's visor, vision could be pretty bad. stock shield's height allows most of us (asians) to look over it for a better view of what is ahead. its common that riders wipe the droplets off their visors with their hands but it'll be a very unsafe stunt to do that for the windshield. the taller ang-mos mostly have no problem looking over the taller aftermarket windshields.

 

* it seems that most large windshield users of SW are in western countries. unlike some places in those places where rain isn't often, tropical rainfalls and monsoon seasons are common in a tropical countries like ours. if we ride only on dry days, then maybe can see cobwebs on our SW liow... exaggerating a bit

Dear all, just share the information which I have enquiry hagon shock from Power Motorcycle Specialist directly last two week ago. The hagon shock for silverwing cost HKD1,700 per pair, they do deliver to Singapore with additional dispatch charges of HKD300, so total will be HKD2,000 which is around SGD340. If purchase for two pair got 10% discount, total will be HK$3,660 (1,700 x 2 x 0.9 + 600).

 

Even the price is around SGD340 but have not included the fund transfer charges, cos they only accept direct remittance to their bank of China account. I have asked DBS about the charges, total will cost you around estimate 20-40 buck bank charges. Any bro can advice or share your experience here?

 

What i am trying to share here is.. buy at bulk can save the one time bank charges and the other best option like scoobydoo bro mentioned, buy direct from there if any friend live in HK or maybe anyone of your friend travel to there.

 

I do hope to buy hagon shock, but not dare to open MO, better wait to c anyone here? Will consider if price is good. Or maybe look for other option, go travel HK and buy hagon shock....

Looking at 100Mbps download and 50Mbps uploading speed, wireless.

 

Anybody got review of the 3 providers; Starhub, M1 and Singnet?

i'm only using singnet 10mbps... but singnet gott depends on the timing u r using, starhub customers complaining lag sometimes & blame M1 for using theirs.

dunno whether izit they trying for force pp into the new optical fibre bb... machiam garmen increasing erp n tax n coe to force pp to take mrt n bus

lol.... i went HKG for leisure few month back..... when the time i haven bought silverwing...... some more the hotel i stay is nearby the shop, wat a waste!!!

cant do much now cos no matter how high speed we subscribe from singnet, they are afterall from phoneline. during the peak after hours like after work to late nite, too many ppl in your area is using the same provider, it'll lag due to the "congested net traffic" so boh bian lor. i dun hold high hopes for the new optical line... have, cheap, i change. if not, remains the same.

 

mrt & bus oso crap de. those taking bus or mrt for only 1 trip without changing, it cost higher. juz took a bus to LOT1 on last sunday for 3 stops & it cost 71cents.
