added: was told the gift (friction mount) is selling at show for about $25 if buy separately, maybe can recover $15~$20 depending on luck.

TMD, i paid $339 for the 1460 in the last show, now its down to $299 :sian:

luckily my free gifts got the friction mount, GTM35 and 5 country maps.

I got mine Starhub 100/50.

Managed to clock 96Mbps(download)/46Mbps(upload) all the time. Not very bad.

Price a bit higher than M1 but heard M1 performance not as good.

I got 3 PC sharing so its just nice.

hmmm... i only know of 2 commonly used routes to mersing...

* via pasir gudang hw, jalan kota tinggi, kota tinggi, jalan jemaluang, mersing (abt 151km from gp esso, most common)

or

* via NS hw, ayer hitam, jalan mersing, mersing (abt 211km from gp esso, more scenic but further and into the mountains)

if via kulai, still gotta go via kota tinggi and jalan jemaluang (dist is abt 173km from gp esso)

Hello chief, may i check how is nuvi 1350 ? issti worth the mola now @ $199 ? :)

TA200 > Silverwing 400 > F800GS > R1200GSA > Tmax500

worth or not can't say for sure... depends on individual usage leh

if useful, $500 also worth... if buy to collect dust, $100 also not worth

as far as riders are concern, i'ld recommend a Garmin for 3 very good reasons (imo):

+ there're dedicated RAM mount kits to hold the garmin unit firmly in place (won't drop out while riding)

+ easy to use user interface

+ most importantly, got free regular map updates from malfreemaps that covers singapore, w.malaysia and southern thailand; community maps are a lot more detailed and with lots more POI than the original garmin NT maps

but if you look at price and features, the other makes seems more attractive cos cheaper and some can double up as multimedia player :p
