Seems like in years to come, the Peninsula will separate into 2 and Malaysia disconnected from Thailand from Hatyai onwards.

That middle portion is too low land.

 

Anyway, can discuss about Plan B this Thursday.

Will activate if still flooding at Koh Samui by next Tuesday.

i think the flooding should have subsided by next week. it'll be like hell if the island is flooded for >1 week, the people there suffer jialat jialat... livelihood losses, pollution, disease, sickness, everything also come

 

we have to think about whether it is still worth going, so soon after the disaster. instead of enjoying the b1tches on beaches, scarli we kenna garbages and debris everywhere; and we don't know how the road conditions are going to be along the way up. maybe i more kiasi, but frankly, i'm tempted to skip samui under such circumstances.

just changed my battery and sparkies. yippie!!! back to IUH24 liow, prefer it over the IUH24D.

new batt + new sparkies = can fly liow

 

had some problem putting the sparky access cover back due to the thicker seat wrapping with design. previous change was ok, this round gotta remove the seat to put the cover back

 

btw, the used IUH24D are still in very good condition. anyone wanna try? i bring tomorrow

Updated Emergency Plans. I actually prefers Plan B... assuming Songkran to be more happening in Hatyai, with a few 1st timers.

Then again, you know I will normally chiong Koh Samui to adventure the unknown.

 

Possible Plan B (if flooding don't affect Hatyai): **Some refund of $$ may be possible. Depends on Betong Hotel cost.

 

Day 1: 9 Apr (Sat) - SG to Cameron Highland. *Hotel fully paid... difficult get $$ back.

Day 2: 10 Apr (Sun) - Hatyai

Day 3: 11 Apr (Mon) - Hatyai

Day 4: 12 Apr (Tue) - Hatyai

Day 5: 13 Apr (Wed) - Hatyai (Songkran, no ride day)

Day 6: 14 Apr (Thu) - Betong

Only managed to confirm my 8 rooms for 10 Apr (new Wing, no windows but bigger room) and 15 April (normal).

 

11 Apr to 14 Apr Fully Booked. No more rooms even if we wanna extend and don't go Koh Samui.

Unless switch Hotel if follow Plan B (add 1 night in Cameron for zesture CO?).

Wah... last minute planning very scary...

No choice becos don't want take the risk go Koh Samui during wet weather and also Hatyai can't get hotels this late.

the windshield is not fully flat plus it "vibrates" due to engine and wind disturbances when running... shake shake shake and the suction holder comes off... there goes your GPS

ytd you guy went to buy the flip up helmet, what is the best offer huh? I am thinking to change helmet, wanna try flip up, but scare not get used to it leh.... my priority open face option is OGK Avand (of course arai is the best, buy one arai can get two ogk liao) the ventilation seem very good not lose to arai.... The price wise is not much diff with the flip up you guy looking for.... but hor, if change need to change a pair...
