Just found out next year's songkran week got involve Good Friday... for 5 days leave can go for super long 10D9N trip, possibly:

 

6 Apr - Friday = Malacca (Good Friday)

7 Apr - Sat = Cameron Highlands

8 Apr - Sun = Hatyai

9 Apr - Mon = Koh Samui

10 Apr - Tue = Koh Samui

11 Apr - Wed = Koh Samui

12 Apr - Thu = Hatyai (Midnight party and countdown)

13 Apr - Fri = Hatyai (Water Wars)

14 Apr - Sat = Genting

15 Apr - Sun = Home

Anyway, the happening is the parade and party on the eve, aka 12 Apr.

Got foam party, street disco, Miss Hatyai Songkran competition, fireworks, etc.

TMD :angry: .... rec'd traffic offence letter today.... tio speeding at Nicoll highway, speed limit is 70KM but i kena exceed speed limit 20KM above, mean i ride abt 90+ KM there... fine $150 and 6 demerit point... 1st time kena speeding fine.....:cry:

hmm... kana overhead bridge camera?

Next time ride within 80-90km/h for unknown roads, 60km/h for HDB and 90-100km/h for expressways.

Our meter normally faster by about 5% from actual speed.

if you ask me for a recommendation, i'ld recommend a Garmin :thumb:

 

got something leh... see post #161 of Tech Corner

 

but info only covered Garmin units, maybe will add in other makes when got time; IPhone excluded.

brand/makes available in Sg: Garmin, Holux, TomTom, Papago, Marbella, etc.

common maps with Sg, My, etc.: Garmin MFM & MSM, Papago, Galactio, Makamap, Mapking, etc.
