I ever seen Ah Choong done a replacement for a 600cc SW @ his old kallang shop. The mileage is about 100++k. Base on that experience, we think the life span of this seal is about 100k. Anyway I have no online contacts to share with you. I can understand how you feel coz I ever been in such situation before.

you can't find the item cos it is not in the transmission page but in the Crank Case page.

leak is most likely from the worn Oil Seal (item 14) but a damaged O-Ring (item 16) may also cause leakage, can't tell for sure from the various pictures.

my recommendation is to have BOTH changed, as the O-Ring shouldn't cost too much.

 

the "manhood" looking thingy sticking out is the crankshaft, found in Crankshaft-Piston page (item 8).

haha, i am damn ****ing unlucky. just spend 144 to repair. and when i pay i was like telling my gf, waaa 144. i die die. really kill me man. call all the no from tech corner. cannot find it. ah choong also headache. want to order, need wait 3 months. wtf sia. Today i happily took half day leave from NS. when i reach the ws. can bang head. the best part is. i went jalan besar all the oil seal shops, went to ubi. and called up almost all the oil seal dealer in singapore. All dont have.

Cause our SW so special they have to use a custom made. here goes. 39.8x64x7

the closest i ever found was 40x65x7. LOL.

Some write up on the leaky problem. Sometimes could be just due to dust/dirt or simply not fastened properly.

Last time I tried once to rev the bike without the variator and oil flows out from the crankcase. Guess the variator must be fully tightened to secure the parts together. http://silverwing600.forumotion.com/t3691-major-oil-leak
