New SW-T400 should still be around 18-19k OTR. *Plus point = storage. Minus = slowness due to heavy weight

New Tmax 530 abt 22-23k bah. *Plus point = performance, i.e. speed, cornering, etc. Minus = lack of storage

New Honda Integra700 (NC700D) is 21k. *Plus point = best stated FC at 27km/l. Minus = lack of storage

 

Hmm... what else? If want a Dual Sport, can also consider the NC700X. Below 20k for a Class 2 bike.

They still allow ppl to view the bike after 1pm, just that no sales person around to assist you on queries.

NC700X is a tall bike, similar to Versys due to longer travel.

Bs don't have nc700x... Only s and the interga.. Went Louis to see nc700x.. Felt so weird with gear.. Haha.. Want to try nc700x but can't bare to part my max.

Get DCT if gears are weird lo.

DCT models from BS are by orders. 2-3 months lead time. Heard that Asphoon might have some though.

 

Only DCT model available right now is the Integra. ard 21k otr, blue and white available.

Interesting read on tire balancing. I'll try on next tire change:

 

1. Balance the wheel without the tire. Mark the heaviest spot. May not be at the valve opening.

 

2. Install the tire with the lightest point (dotted in red, yellow or white) at the wheel spot marked in point 1 above. Example: lightest spot on tire to heaviest spot on the wheel.

 

3. Balance the entire wheel again and add weights accordingly.

About Engine Oil Viscosity... lower number = less friction, louder and lessor protection at high temperature.

 

Hmm... Mobil 1 is as light as Maxima Extra 10W40 yet better protection at high temp...

Best mix could be Liquid Moly 5W40 though.
