Coming Short Trip

 

2D1N Kuantan

Date: 6 to 7 Oct 12 (Sat and Sun)

Hotel Cost: MYR100 per room

Hotel: Grand City

 

Itinerary

6 Oct 12:

7am - Meet at JB Shell

7.15am - Move off

7.45am (8.45am) - BKT Breakfast at Kota Tinggi (51km)

9.45am (10am) - Kuala Rompin Shell petrol stop (139km, total 190km)

11.30am (12.30pm) - SG Pandan Waterfall (143km)

1pm (2pm) - SG Lembing Town Lunch and walkabout (32km)

2.30pm (3.30pm) - Laozi Temple visit (29km)

4pm - Check in Hotel (13km). R & R till meet up for Dinner.

6pm (7.30pm) - Dinner at Satay Zul

8pm - Night market, movies at Berjaya Megamall, etc.

 

7 Oct 12:

7.00am (8.30am) - Meet up and ride to Cempedak Beach for Mcdonalds Breakfast and walk about (5.5km)

9am (10am) - Optional Visit to Turtle Sanctuary at Cherating (45km) or laze around town.

11am (12noon) - Back to Hotel, wash up and check out.

2.15pm (3.30pm) - Mersing tea break and petrol refill (196km)

5pm - Sutera Reborn Massage (135km) or Home Sweet Home via Woodlands (129km).

 

Shifted to 3rd week... : haha.. 20 Oct I can go...

bros juz to check for fjs400 n swt400 r the front n rear brake discs the same size??

 

SWT uses 276mm discs. FJS same for 2008 and above models. 2007 and below uses 256mm front. Rear all same 240mm.

Hi you all frequently go acm for bike servicing? Cause previouslywhen I riding manual bike I always go planet.

Majority of us goes to Acm but sometimes we still hop around other shops too.

Acm is specialist in scooter, however he's does have the capability of working on manuel bikes and infact he's very knowledgeable on it.

Some of our ex fellow silver-wing riders still visit him for servicing and modification with their Manuel bikes.

Planet's ah chong is a nice and friendly uncle too.. Been there couple of times when I'm riding my vtec 1.

 

Currently you riding scoot as well?

So far enjoying your ride?

Hey folks, the breather hose that is located underneath the fairing is meant to actually releases heat pressure from the engine right?

Was wondering if we replace the cap of the breather hose with a small open filter will it actually improve the ventilation of the engine?

If it does help, apparently it will helps to cool the charging coil as well due to it releases more heat pressure in the engine.

Do share your thoughts..

The actual breather hose is a black hose on the top of the engine, connecting 2 engine parts. That small hose is some drain pipe, also for some breathing. If too much ventilation, I think engine will 漏风 :)

This price tag for a BMW is way too low?

 

Otr wil be 3k more. Price is abt the same for their GS650 n 800..

 

The BMW bike prices for their mid cc n 1k cc differs alot even before yen appreciation..

 

Its more like; bmw nv got cheaper, its e jap bikes that haf been getting more ex

does the coil spin around for it to work ?

 

Not fully soaked but gets some cooling from EO from oil pump with engine running. Coil is fixed to the crankcase cover, only the magnet moves.

thanks for replying. haha yea now riding sliverwing. very very comfortable but new to scooter so very blur. btw for my scooter i have to rev till 3k rpm then the bike will move. is it the same for you guys?

Yupz. Somewhere between 2.5k-3k rpm.

Realised that SG bike shops normally sell only the Mobil 1 Super 4T 10W40.

 

I want the Racing 4T 10W40.

A lot of difference in viscosity based on data sheet.

 

Anyone spot it selling anywhere, let me know.
