I set the rear suspension to 4. so far the ride is smooth. now is 250 km, i think by this week i will go for an oil change and filter for the first 500 run

Found my sweet spot already. I'm about 86kg.

Thanks for the advice. Yes i have class 2 lic but i still prefer SW.

 

Checked with ASP, HENG, MI and BP, they dont hv 2nd hand SW-T400. Will look around in ubi tomorrow.

down-payment = $2,000

total instalment amount (incl. interest) = $290 x 60 instalments = $17,400

loan duration = 60 monthly instalments = 5 years

 

suppose presiding interest rate is 5% pa for a new bike (4% if u kaki with shop)...

let principal amount be P, interest amount be I

total interest over 5 years (straight line) = P x 5% x 5 = 0.25P

P + 0.25P = 1.25P = 17,400

P = 13,920

 

together with down-payment, price = $15,920 (excluding insurance)

... need to pay additional $165~175 for IU?

Base on my calculation, the OTR price excluding insurance is 16.5k leh.

2k + 290x60 months is inclusive of interest already.

hmm... total is 19.4k leh, excluding Insurance some more. Where come the 16.5k?

Since u have class 2, Perhaps can consider a new SWT-600 instead of SW-T 400. Machine Parts are very similar to SW-T 400 so no need to worry

 

Is there SW-t600 around in Singapore?Every shops that i asked only have 400.

Yah, I believe the bike he viewed is agent bike. Cos thats where I got my NCX too. They do have ready stock of swt in the shop.

 

Confirm it is 4% interest per year. That's their standard rate for brand new bike.

 

Btw, most shop OTR prices exclude interests. That's why I did the calculation to deduce the OTR price.

SW being a scooter cannot be compared with the S4.

It can safely cruise at 130km/h but with much more comfort than the S4.

 

Then again, S4 (Vtec?) max refuel range at 140km/h is about 200km(?) while SW at is 280km. *With estimated 50km to spare.

Most ECU will try to minor adjust the ratio to the optimum of 14.7 for best performance.

That's why you have the returning O2 reading for real-time calculation.

Sorry for not mentioning clearly. I used to travel alone to kuantan with S4 ver S , want to reach there fast fast so didn't like to stop unless bor bian like refueling (take minutes), bangsai, bad weather and etc... My concern is can SW travel for 130-140kmh for 4-5hours with very little rest ?

yah, SW can do it. no problem. you will also reach your destination feeling less fatigue compared to your s4.
