Once installed the K & N, please do an engine (FI) balancing. It'll be very smooth. ACM can do.

 

Balancing should be done at every spark plug change, which is about 15k-20k for Iridium plugs.

 

Saw your post bro and went to Ah choong to get my FI alligned.

Wha end up really is this bugger that is causing my FC at 17.5km/l

FI balancing is a simple procedure what may be DIY... if you have the vacuum gauge(s).

some of us have invested in a set of gauges, as we usually change our own sparkies and followed by balancing

check these out

* Using a Vacuum Guage or Carb Tuner?

* Air Screw Synchronisation

In a normal big bike shop using digital gauge, the average cost is $15-$20 per cylinder.

current i using WirusWin open pod wif funnel... FC maintain 21-22km/L be it u highway or city ride...

use to be city ride 22km/L+- and highway 25-26km/L

Yeah bro, I was on the hunt for full system aftermarket exhaust the other time...

Asked around, LeoVince heard some issues going on,

Arrow changed distro to LAB and their answer was exhaust not certified by LTA yet for swt.

Other makes not approved for SG market. And mostly were slip ons.

 

By chance I found this resale exhaust on the sales thread, bought it and had it changed ownership to under my name and luckily it passed the certification test.

 

This exhausts points about 30 degrees up, looks wise slightly better than the original stock ones. You can try ask around in the market if anyone is dekitting their SWing.

When I ordered the arrow from biketech21 shah was just so easy to work with. Told him I want the legal fs for my swt400, he check and confirm its do-able and brought the fs in for me, think refundable if not approved. I didnt mind paying for the homologation. LAB was just being a lazy bugger not knowing that the fs already homologated. Now that he knows, anyone keen can approach him and feedback the arrow fs availability here. I think elton's arrow is the only one here coz havnt seem another one otr.

For older SW or ppl who wants LV, go sporting motor to check. Should be alot easier under Eugene Mah.

Just changed back to Pirelli Diablo after 8k with the Metzler Feelfree.

Probably I'm too 'Niao' but minor vibration at the handle bar seems to be under control better with the Diablo.

Hmm... weight and structural difference between the 2 brands? May be.... or stickiness at the forks?

 

Anyway, also cleaned the belt compartment (DIY) to get rid of unevenness of the clutch pads that was creating some jerkiness when moving off.

 

Adjusted the steering handling... but I guess I over did it a little bit. Will release the tightness later.

i only know 2nd air box is where the normal air filter replacement.

Go ACM loh. Usually got stock for Diablo. Should be abt 170 or 180. I not sure current charges cos I got it done at another friend's shop that was more ex.
