if buying normal maintenance free batt, i'ld suggest Yuasa YTZ14S instead of the stock TYZ12S, diff is only S$10+.

cheapest seems to be at KS Motorcycle (call to check stock availability), shop is along Jln Besar (right hand side) directly opposite to Regina.

 

but if you SW is low usage type like mine (few times a month), you really may wanna consider paying for a lithium batt that costs from $180 to $240 (depending which make/model).

I'm presently using the Skyrich batt (see Tech Post #272), SW9000 is using the MO batt (see below).

Regular motortiam is A S phoon.. But see their standard drop.. I got no hope with them.. I only check wif Speedway.. They bring in GT version.. Thinking to get from them.

Bike production... $20k no IU and insurance... Price as of 3.45pm 6th July 2015... Hope it helps. Currently have stock of 2 units in white...

bike production is one popular shop, mainly becos its a BS authorised dealer and offers rather competitive prices.

to avoid disappointment/misunderstandings, do note that BP's "On-the-Road" (OTR) pricing is slightly different from some/many shops.

 

* IU ... their default is not included

their OTR view/policy is "no IU also can ride legally in Singapore"... and they're not wrong

want IU, arrange with them earlier (separately payable) or go to any LTA authorised IU service centre

An In-Vehicle Unit (IU) is a device that Singapore-registered vehicles must be fitted with if they wish to use priced roads with Electronic Road Pricing (ERP) gantries and Electronic Parking System (EPS) car parks.

* insurance ... ask specifically what category insurance is given

their default is NOT comprehensive insurance; OTR i was quoted gives only 3rd party.

want 2nd party or comprehensive? gotta top up... and they're not wrong

LTA only require a 3rd party insurance to register a motorcycle/scooter.

* Motor insurance covering at least third-party liability for death and bodily injury arising out of the use of the motorcycle or scooter

IMO, go for comprehensive insurance for as long as your SW could get.

it could be rather expensive to restore in an accident (touch wood)

 

* minimum loan amount & finance/admin costs

their OTR price is conditional with a min loan amount; quote is higher if you choose to take lower or no loan.

strongly suggest you also confirm their interest rates, admin fees, early repayment terms-n-conditions, etc. to avoid unhappy future misunderstandings.

 

 

do make sure all (if not most) "un-specified" costs are on the table...

and confirm in BLACK-n-WHITE whatever deal you've agreed, ask the sales (or ah shui) to write them down on their BP paper.

 

freebies? can try your luck but BP don't practice that... unless you super kawan or big time customer with them

Meeting is fixed... Weekly meet up at Rail Mall, Bukit Timah from 7pm onwards till about 9pm. No bike restriction.

Gathering would be cancelled only if most HOM members are not around, i.e. go on trips. Announcement would be made.
