1) Normally you all guys pump up to where , for my case i pump up to the very very brim. u all pump just at the tip of the mouth or to the very brim just like me ?

2) you all start to count reserve when final trip activated or when u all see the meter touches the most top red line. for my case, i realize tat when my meter touch the bottom red line ,final trip then activated appear ! I immediately go to the nearest petrol kiosk to refill. I fill in a total of 13.5 litres of petrol and the distance i had clock is already 275km le. From my knowledge full tank is 15 l and base on tmax able to have 20km Per litre , my reading above is weird.

If based on 20km per Litre , a full tank can only last me (15L*20km)= 300km,, how am i going to travel another 50km based on reserve while my distnace already is 275km le.

wow.. sounds like u risk taker...

i kiasi lor.. fuel up at least once a week regardless of mileage travelled.. ain't fun pushing a 200+kg scoot :sian:

besides petrol stations are at every corner y take the risk??

hey anric79 where did you get your meter in km/h?

I bought it at yamaha shop. mr lee order for me from oversea, took 3 week to arrive our shore. Damage for the meter is $625 nett. i not very use to see miles so ask mr lee to order a km meter for me. I tell u i never regret buying this, i dont have to squueze my eye see at the red red tiny reading km anymore.

hi yogi,

i just want to try the limit how far t max can go. btw brother u fill up to where de each pump? just at the brim or above the brim? your final trip activated when petrol needle touches the most top red line or near bottom red line. for my case is touches bottom red line , final trip then jump in.

Hi anyone advise once tank hit reserve, about how far can we travel for the 3Ls left?

on average 1 litre can travel about 12miles. anything within 36miles is safe. after that is hope for any petrol kiosk nearby. :cheeky:

Pls take note that it is not advisable to run ur bike till e fuel tank goes empty. But 10 to 12 miles per liter is a good gauge. Cheers!

So you guys pump petrol up to where? jsut at the mouth or really to the brim till almost overlfow?

when you all guys determine when is reserve? Final trip shown or needles touches the most top red line petrol gauge? For my case Final trip activated only when needle reaches near bottom red line not upper redline. is it normal or faulty petrol gauge ?

eh i dun ve chance to 'dry' the fuel tank so can't quite advise though sori :dot:

by experience is when u cruise for long distance, fuel mileage tends to b better..

I'll fill up only to the brim everytime. the reserve will start when the light is lighted up. I managed to travel 30miles on it.

I wonder is a 500cc or 800cc ? The front headlight so fierce look, currently our max de front not very attractive , not fierce enough. like a gu niang headlight lol. The meter for 2012 also so much nicer than our current one. I wonder how much it cost loh, must be very expensive machine .

Aprilia SRV 850is basically a revamped GP800 Gilera. Everything the same beside front headlights and 50cc more.

BMW concept c has 2 version, the fuel or electric. Full of innovation.. LCD dashboard with speed, gps bla bla bla even play mp3 and side view from LCD screen. Reliability is a big question. Price with all this gimmick?

Honda Integra 700cc. 6 speed dual clutch just like the vfr1200. The perfect engine for scooter with better acceleration and speed. Innovation +10 but appearance -20.

The new Tmax properly upgrade in engine size. From the blur video, the top of the speedo maybe shows 630 or 730. With speedo stopping at 180km/h, don't think it's going to fast. Maybe better acceleration (info may change as video of the speedo may be from a pre production bike). Anyway the tail looks like a R6. Let's see next month what innovation they're going to come up with.

Looks like 2012 is the year for Maxi scooters.
