Hi ! bikejunkie, Yes ! The Tmax 530 has got a BIG PROBLEM.....The problem is the Tmax is OVER POWERED....It's a WILD HORSE.....And you need a Gd CowBoy to handle it.....so if u ain't a cowboy, you ain't riding the Tmax.....so u got to let the horse go.....GOT IT BRO ?

don't expect it to be like a 2B bike.. but don't expect it to be like a class 2 sports bike.. that's my opinion.. enjoying my ride so far.. can't wait to experience the bike once the run-in period is over..

I got about 20 to 21km/l while I was running in.. Now I can't be bothered to calculate. Haha

Saw a early 2012 530 for sale at Excel for $18K. if not wrong think got box too......good stuff.

 

Anyway, any bros here changed to dual headlight *edited* for their tmax 500 *edited*.....i asked AC Motor and he said dun la.....the bike will not be able to charge the battery if running dual halogen headlights.

 

Now i was thinking if i run one side LEDs and the other side halogen ...would that solve the problem...not used to only side lighted..... found a pair of LED H7 online.....and another pair of white H4 to match......anyone keen to share??..........PM me pls.

 

Think total cost should be about $30 without installation.......

Hi. I'm very interested in getting a t max. But I heard my fren say a lot problem like de fuel pump.

Which year model have de problem? And any legal full system for tmax?

depends....on luck...think anything from 2009 onwards all may have chance. but if you read the thread....its all been solved liao.....its due to a defective fuel pump from the fuel pump supplier......now nobody talks about it liao.............

 

if still uncomfortable get the tmax 530....no complain so far......one year later sell me cheap cheap.

i got about another 100 miles before my run-in reached 1000 miles lo...

my 1st 600 miles run-in i got abt 180 miles best before f trip.

now 2nd phase abt 170 miles before f trip.

is it norm due to 2nd phase can travel faster but lower than 6k rpm?

so after run in wat is the norm fc i should expect to get?

n also the warming up time is longer than my fz1 is it normal?

will the windshield vibration during idling goes off or reduce after run in finish?

I've taken my front end apart before and done some DIYs on my 530. The stock bulbs are H11 and its pretty small. I doubt you can fit in a H7 in, not to mention H4.. And yes, both side are using H11.
