Yes this is true..it is said to be "BMW Designed but built by Kymco" Or is it simply a Kymco engine...i`m sure BMW would try to cover this as much as possible..

 

It is partially true . the C600 & C650 both bore the Kymco engine housing and starter motor. Engine internals are claimed to be redesign by bmw motorrad.

It wasnt cover, they did annouced this during the launch.

 

Having tried tmax 500/530 vs C600S/C650GT , i will personally chose the tmax over the bmw.

Reason : handling and the smoothness of transmission. U can probably factor in the servicing cost too.

Any other brands like shell, maxima etc... also can use. But you can't expect their own company to recommend their rivals when they produce the same thing right? haha.

By the way, upon reading the manual, the oil filter can last around 20000km before changing.

I think you read wrongly. It's 10'000km.

What are the brands that have all 3 type of filters.

 

 

Air filter

V-belt filter

Another filter on the left under the seat fairing ? Dun know call what.

For the main air filter got KNN, BMC, Malossi etc.. I think there's more..

 

For the right hand variator filter I changed mine to Malossi during my belt change. For the left one quite rare. I search online can only find pollini..

I did email to Malossi.. Unfortunately don't have. They haven't even come out with the rear whoop disc for the 530..

hi, I was thinking to modify to those mushroom type. Cos I look at the manifold area it's round type . Must find 1 day dismantle & measure that area see can put in those mushroom type.
