I personally feel that the seat is not that thick to trim.. you should see for yourself if possible.. you lose all the comfort of the paddings on a comfy bike..

You may want to check out Yamaha showroom? I went there to see before I decide to buy.. I even ask for permission and sat on it even though it's on the platform..

 

I managed 170+ km/hr with pillion.. I think most guys here can go higher because I am on the heavy side..

 

I usually cruise at 140-150km/hr in NSH.. but that is personal preferences.. I dont feel the bike is straining even at 170 and I dont feel uncomfortable as well..

if down payment $3000 n pay for 3 years, every month is $591??? that is quite a lot for a bike, never want to fork out. sorry, i never buy new bikes before, never know how to work out my finances

i think max is 5 years...cos mine is 5 years and 1 mth is 360...i bought 2nd hand for 19.5 5% interest...

just now stood beside a tmax at chinatown, not as high as i thought. i think my VXR200 was much higher

I went AC today, front noise was due to front wheel bearing, changed a pair, cost me $40. Hopefully the peace can last more than a while.

It had been around 2 months since u change your ball bearing at the front . Sound reoccurs again? I realize after 3 mth my sound came back again , that time I change a new whole set of speedometer loh which cost me $130. Damn it. I might follow you change ball bearing liao when my next service come ard 2 mths time.

16k for a 530 is damn cheap..got a guy that time selling his 500 (4B5) for 19-20k region, still managed to off load it!(maybe slightly less) but his mileage was like really very low.

 

Now with the COE soaring I doubt can get that price already.
