did u duplicate the key, this key is it those encoded chip key which is ard 70 dollar tat type or 5 dollar non encoded chip? Can we really ask hongleong to make another remote control for us and how much?

 

 

If daily riding will not turn off unless run out of battery which the actual lifespan now is still unknown.

HL mech tell me ard 2year however he was not very sure also. The battery is those round normal type which can get anywhere and the remote is easy to open.

For emergency case just need to learn the secret of starting using the seat. Hehe...

Only one remote but two keys. If under hire purchase spare key with the serial will be with the shop.

This remote is not the chip type. It sending some radio wave (frequency ) out so when u near it detect. You cannot get those chip one as there no chip inside at all.

One remote cost $400plus according to HL and one bike can sync up to six remote.

U need a spare key which is non chip type for emergency case. No back up ignition to start the bike if remote lost, only can use the emergency mode to start.

The spare key cannot start the bike however it can be use to activate the bike into emergency mode which can start bike without key. This when u own the bike u had to learn for situation when u lost the remote. If not keep the spare and get HL ppl to save u (easy way out)

No way to start the bike at all without the remote and spare key.

The key on the remote and spare key is the same. Both for opening for pump petrol, seat and compartment only.

No back up on ignition at all.

If you really worry about lost of remote which is unlikely due to u will have it in pocket all the time, u can spend money to get a spare remote and programmed to the bike.

I am currently riding my 500cc tmax bought brandnew at HL 3 years ago. On the road price include insurance is 20000 dollars. It is still running good And I am curious about how this remote thing work. I know in future Yamaha will only produce keyless tmax bike and to use key to start will be a history.

Might not be tmax only. This might be for all bikes in future if this work out. They try on scoot first as it more logically in my opinion. A sport bike the space might not be enough for the system.

Also tmax cause it is the flagship for their scoot range so the pricing is there as its still new so the cost will be passed on to the consumer. Price wise it can convince consumer easier than on other scoot.

 

Well Jap bike is well known for it reliability so enjoy your ride as long it does not give u problem. I use my sw for 8years before I change. Lolx

Insurance only 400 plus for age 34 (ntuc)

Yes white cause no more sonic Grey had to wait till mar or April that time. Well am happy with the white. The champagne color also look good.

Bought from asphoon and they take in mine sw at 4k plus (left 1.5years Coe till 2016)

Second hand price not far off.

Before I got mine I also consider a second hand but seen like the difference will not be Alot.

U check out the Otr then compare with a second hand u looking at then do some math.

Second hand advantage is come with accessories.

I still happy that i took the jump and enjoying my ride now.

This price if for abs or non abs??

2nd hand abs less than a year bike ard 19-20k base on what I'm considering that time.

The bike will come with box and akra exhaust which is free from HL at that time of purchase.

So otr 24.5k if it is abs plus box and exhaust will add up to ard 26k base on a akra (1.3k) and normal box(300)

That will be 6k cheaper.

Interest rate for new bike ard 4-5% but not sure for 2nd.

Seen like the price not affected by the Coe bro.

When Coe at 4.8k price is 24.3k for abs model now at 5.5 k Coe the price is only 24.5k.

 

So now up to u.

I checked Alot of shop and was given a range of 22.9k to 23.5k for non abs and top up 1k for abs model.

That was when coe was at 4.8k
