Hi all

I'm tempted to get the 2015 TMax but have some qns and hope you guys here can advise me;

What's the FC like for this bike (typical travelling speed of 100km/h)?

Where did you guys fix your IU unit?

Where do you guys send your bike for servicing and roughly what's the damaged for roller/belt/EO/filter change?

And lastly where did you guys got your ride from (OTR price) ? HL Cycle or Unique or others?

Thank you bros in advance.

Cheers !!!

Hello there.. rear belt should last 80k.. i managed to stop the squeaky sound by rubbing hard soap on both edges. Not sure how long it can last but somehow it is a temporany solution. Yep i just rode 2500km from Thai.

Look carefully.

This is not tmax and the mirror is not place at the level nut there. It just to show the Rizoma one come with this adaptor which might be able to use for the mirror mod and no need to get seperate adaptor from Rizoma.

😄😄

Bro,

Where u get that fig from?? What normally will be Recommended should not be so much, if it ard 40k to 50k should be reasonable.

80k I guess as that is a recommended fig by user whom tried the belt to the max.

Norm ride in sg is ok but for road trip?! 😥

Even it is that lasting but changing a belt for trip which 2500km long sound more logical to me.

If it snap due to unable to take the tension then u putting yourself at risk. Chances of it happen with a old belt is higher which is why a lot of ppl going for trip they will do a servicing before heading up north.

Just my suggestion, get that belt changed since it had been over working. A few reason as follow

- it had worn out and unable to perform to it best and might Affect FC

- for safety reason

- be considerate to other road user also

60k is nothing.

I've changed my drive belt before at 80k. So yes, the drive belt can last that long.

rien d'autre que le max.

Recommended in manual is 40k then every 5k check.

If normal road use still okay if we want to fully utilize the belt as what speed we will be travel at and for what duration.

However road trip??

Anyway each had own preference no right or wrong just a suggestion to ensure our ride is properly, well maintain as not create any danger to own self or other. Cases of poorly maintained bike leading to accident should be and can be avoided.

Nope.. U can use as long as u want.

Recommended is 40k as it the average life span of the belt.

Depend on your riding style and the environment u in also.

No must change one... All just guideline and recommended.

As i always frequent our neighbour, i'd rather not risk going over the recommended. Towing fee can cover the cost of the belt liao. 😂

Well even riding in Singapore best not to go too much over the recommended unless it been checked at the interval if not best to do it whenever possible.

Also by following the recommended also had it advantage of keep the rest of the parts in good condition as if u not maintaining it properly might lead to other parts been damaged as well.

Maybe the knocking sound might be a good example but might not also as so far no reported case yet.

So sometime u spend a bit more is saving in long run.

Just my view so do not whack me. Thank
