u seepae beng leh..btw y u dun see chrome handle bars now a days?coz it will reflect the light especially in sg whr everywhr also got street lamp..i feel that its kinda dangerous la..n hard to maintain..alot finger prints 1..

I agree! with my chrome brakefluid covers, daytime U can kenna reflective glare!!

Standard t-max: Maximum power: 32.0 kW (43.5 PS) @ 7,500 rpm

Maximum torque: 45.0 Nm (4.6 kg-m) @ 6,500 rpm

wah..u managed to find my Tmax on dyno ar?Power gains not great at all la..but regulates better air/fuel mixture when coupled with Full Systen + Air Filter..

 

Dyno result in my Tmax..will share during the next meet up ba..

Hi Sexyh aka Calvin, How is your Max getting along? Hope you're enjoying the Max like everyone here. It's really a fun bike.

I will be sending in my Max to MT next Friday for the 2nd servicing. Until now, 6 month down the road ... my Max only clocked 1720mls...

I am intending to have the Givi brackett installed also as the one customed made at 216 shop looks kana sai as rust is begining to show. I stand corrected but understand that it cost around $250.00. Anyone here installed the Givi ???

Do not know what i have to pay for servicing at Hong Leong? I heard that the oil filter they charge, how about oil and what type they use i also don't know?

If charges are no different then maybe can use my regular mechanic shop. Don't know if that will ruin my 1 year warranty or not....so scare...

When I sent my Max to HL... only the labour charge is free. All oil, filter etc are chargeable. Told them to keep their free charges and instead sent mine to MT. HL even states that warranty will be void if i do my servicing outside. Told them to F OFF! Warranty stands regardless of where I choose to service my bike as long as the replacement parts used are original Yamaha parts. I believe HL uses Shell engine oil. IMO, you should use normal oil first and only switch to semi or fully syn after the engine has been properly runned-in.

Called them this morning and was told exactly the same. Anyway never mind since is also almost the same price as my regular shop, i made a booking for tomorrow 1.30pm to do my 1st oil change there.

Hey.... what is "regular oil" ???

 

just curious.... cos i'd only heard of fully-syn, semi-syn, and mineral oil.....

 

didnt know they now have it in sizes like, "small", "regular" and "large"???

 

like having MacDonalds Value meal..... :faint:
