Anyone using Diablo? What is the mileage you guys can get? And how long??

 

Changed my tyres last Feb, this month starts to harden already.

Changed my tyres last Feb, this month starts to harden already.

My first scooter.

 

Been riding almost everyday and its on stock Dunlop tires. Clocked abt 4000miles so far.

 

Very grippy feel on both dry and wet road and made me more confident leaning lower when turning at high speed.

 

My S1000R has Diablo Rossi tires and sonehow i am never as confident leaning low as on the tmax.

 

Maybe the tmax has it fuel tank so much lower than the naked bike as such with the CG lowered, i am able to lean more with more confidant.

 

For now, still Dunlop for my tmax.

Did Motul 3L oil and filter change for the tmax on Sat at AC for 112SGD.

 

Had the rear wheel realigned due to 'mrt' sound when slowing to a halt.

I should stick to Dunlop back. But AC doesn't have stock for it. The other experience I had, changed my tyres at Unique, they scratched the back rims!

 

Anyone staying at Marsiling??

When you ride with a misaligned rrear wheel, the drive belt will make a loud howling noise every time you come to a stop. The howling noise is similiar to that of 'mrt train coming to a stop or moving off. Count yourself lucky you didbt experience that. :)

I went to AC twice to get it rectified. So far now no more liao.

 

Only irritating sound that I get now is when I close throttle, there will be a "mouse" like sound coming from the rear. I believe its from the Parking brake.

 

It will go away if the Parking brake is not tighten.

Thats good to know on the park brake.

 

My squeaking noise is now on the front brake at abt 5 to 10km/h when braking . May bring back to Yamaha to look at it.

I think what u saw on carousell is Jcosta variator and not malossi variator. Both are diff items but same part for the bike. :)

60 means about 100km

A bit of knocking on those screws will help loosen any rust formed on the threads. Good luck!

Sprayed WD40 on the screws. Left for a couple days and today it was way much easier to remove the 4 screws. Managed to installed the golden tip.

After engine oil and filter change at AC last week, the full tank clocked abt 145miles before last bar bling. Lets see if this full tank can still see consistent mileage.

Anyone encounter before suddenly tmax not able to start , battery is charging base on voltmeter . Cranking but does not seem to be able to rev up the engine

Thanks for the guide , some how after 15 mins it started without issue . I'm also not sure is a one time issue or intermittent . But will take workshop to check .
