Hi to all tmax owners,may i knw whr to find used tmax? after calculation i think i cant really afford a brand new bike. any bradder here wanna let go?

how's e bike compare to SW600? Power and handling?

dear all, after riding 1 week with the polini variator, feels great and bike tends to be smooth and more responsive pickup felt. the only bad point is u will try asap to fix up a aftermarket exhaust cos it feels damn choked with it...

 

wad I feel is changing of variator,exhaust n air filter is sufficient for the performance side of the tmax already...

I was considering letting go my current ride to this bike. Used to ride X9 before, problem always comes whenever closing throttle. Backfire is one issue and jerky feeling when comes to engine break as though like something is falling off inside e engine.

 

i feel that bigger CC scooter hopefully won't give such a problem in a long runs. Any advice anyone? =)

X9 if backfire very loud and frequent, usually is the air/fuel mix too lean.

Is quite a problem free bike, I read from other forum, there is one TMAX with 140,000km on its belt, when open up for top overhaul the valves clearance still in spec. The belt and rollers can last for 20000miles?

Light touring and lots of space, and the abilities take on the twisters...

Touring speed range from 110-140km/h which I felt is the most comfortable for this scooter...

Since it is quite a problem free bike, is this bike is comparable with normal chain bike in terms of maintenance fees?

It cost almost lesser than a chain and sprockets....

If you include the life time of your chain, how many chain lubes you need to buy then it is cheaper compare to normal chain bike...Well depend how you look at it.

I too came from CL2 super sport culture so to me most of things are dirt cheap.At least I need not change $400 tires every 8000km, change engine oil every 2000km, brake oil every 6 months,coolant every year,4 plugs every year and etc...

..if you came from a 2B bike culture, everything seem ex.....Where heat cycle, tear and wear comes to play when you are taking about performance..

 

When I changed tires for less than $200 I was like wow.....Looking at the thread I reckon it should last me at least 15000km-20000km on this kind of torque...

Belt change was in the region of $200 plus.....Hmm...is cheaper than my 520 chain kit....

Engine oil just use semi syn as it is not a high reving bike.....Whereby my previous r6 can reach 15500rpm where it was taxing on the engine oil and enough to shear them within 2000km if you ride like it is designed to...TMAX....I guess it only rev to 8500rpm and stay there...The engine oil should have an easy life in it...

Hi to all tmax lovers,jus to share,I finally found a Tmax for sale. While I was on e way to view,I was hoping e bike condition is gonna b a few mods and looks gOod cos tmax always give me a sporty scoot impression. But to my big big surprise,e green tmax which is FBB plater scared e holy **** out of my life!!! I have never seen such a FUGLY tmax in my life!!! Handle bar change to LC Kia type,like fried kuay teow,FUGLY disc brake,FUGLY mirrors,FUGLY paint work with pariah stickers all over!!! Only thing is acceptable is e yoshi full system.and owner is asking $11k with 2 yrs left.can't imagine there're people out there with this type of taste! After seeing e bike I can't eat n sleep properly,it really destroy my impression towards tmax man! Now I must watch more YouTube to gain back my good impression again....hope this tmax I referring to doesn't belong to any of e bros here.

I think I saw near upper changi rd in front of a bike shop. Well beauty is in the eye of the beholder. That's why customized bikes have lower market value or I should say wait for the right person...If the right person is only the owner then good luck......

I guess most of us here have their bike "tastefully done"....

becuase of the hyrdic suspension ba... was told that it cost around 7k...

Thanks for your help Daniel. Loving the exhaust and i got my nut and bolt problem fixed on Saturday.

 

To all, I went riding last night and realized something. After changing to a lighter exhaust, the bike veers ever so slightly towards the left when riding freehand. Didn't know how heavy that chunk of metal was until i had it removed.
