guys, i'm a new gilera rider. Just bought a new VZR and i was looking at the leo vince pipes. Whats the price like between the carbon fibre pipe and the all metal one(older one)? Price including fixing. Kindly assist. Thanks. PM me will do.

Bro...kindly any issue regarding between you & who....plz settle it out of the forum....yes...this is a forum which you or whoever can post,info,enquiry,details etc....but this is not the way to settle,there's no used of putting your anger in here....maybe there's a misunderstanding between both of you...there's always way's to settle nicely but not this kinda of messages....

If you think that the person is not good or cant be trusted...you are freely to find other shop or ............singapore is a free country....anyway i understand how you feel...

 

Well .....i'm not siding you or him.....just a fren of both side....i want both to settle it peacefully on your own ways...this is a forum for all who share the same passion.....& also its not the right way to pin point,lan chau way people,names,shop ot whatever....

 

Reminder to all....do not interfere in their issue...let them settle it themselves...dont always listen to 1 side...the other are important too..

Great! I was thinking of opening this thread cause there are some things i'm not sure of for a handlebar conversion. Hahah.Then handlebar and stam can be of any size right? Or is there a particular size i need to buy?

So far i was been stopped once by TP...they check my bike & only summon me for my tinted visor...i just went for my bike inspection & nothing happen...

truvativ is one of the better bars in the market.wobble aint due to ur bar but rather coz ur front end is now lighter compared to stock.try to tighten the steering cone first.and get a shorter fork or down ur fork for better stability.u might wana try adding heavier barends to let ur bar have the weight.

bar and stem shud be for downhill.get oversized bar and stem.normal size stem and bar might not be able to withstand the vibration.and get a qualified mech to fit the stem for u as u need to insert a metal sleeve btwn d stem and ur fork mount.this will ensure ur stem will not slip off easily.

if ur steering cone n all is perfect there shudnt be any roblem with free hand.. at least for mine got no issue ah.. unless i go like 120-130km/h den got wobble..

once you convert it definitely will wobble. the ori stock bars are stiffer and heavier so it doesnt vibrate, or at least we dont feel anythin. most downhill bars are longer and much lighter so they tend to vibrate more then the oris. ways to counter this are like wat scootard said.....tighten your cones a lil more, adding heavier bar-ends, lower down your front side, and if ur bars are like 30 inches like mine was.....cut them a lil shorter to maybe 28-29. more prone to vibration/wobble if ur bars are longer.
