Anyway some issue i had with the bike,

 

1)dunnoe if is it coincident of what, for two times my bike park under a rain cannot start with low battery, had to replace the battery twice.

 

2) went to guan hoe to check, spend $630 to change front 4 brake pad, engine oil,casing, rod,belt. Told guan hoe about my battery issue, checked and say no issue.

 

3) Ride back the bike , and half way suddenly low power like going to off mode like tat. Move to the side off it and on it again can start liao and ride back home.

 

4) Next day wake up with engine oil leak out on the floor and bike cannot start, Tow bike to guan hoe and checked say that no leakage of engine oil and cannot start coz fuse burn.

 

5) went back to collect bike ride out halfway with FI light on and cannot start, must turn the ignition off then in again then can. So ride up park outside guam hoe again as they already closed.

 

Will update again on the mention issue tmr

Retrieve my bike on tues 16/7

 

1)engine oil leakage settled . Due to screw not tighten enough

 

2) was told the fuse on the right side was loose, for the power issue

 

3) was monitoring the power issue till today, thursday 18/7,

Parked my bike for less then 15mins in the carpark as i was buying something from a shop nearby, turn on the ignition with no response from the bike again!!!!!! -_-" gonna call guan hoe tmr and gonna see how they can help to diagnose the error and kill it once and for all.

 

If they still cant solve it, anyone got any workshop to recommend?

Its a K4 burgman An 400

Recommend you check the batt connector screw. If came loose can cause intermittent on-off problem.

AN650L3 (current): All mod transferred.

SW-T400 (till oct 13): voltmeter, safety features disabled. coocase v36+remote. Adjustable, folding Brake levers. Givi AF318 windshield. on-off switch(pilot light, head light, hazard light), electrical seat unlatch,Dr pulley.

AN400K6 (apr07-dec11): side deflectors, J Costa variator, Dr pulley slider + HiT clutch.

YP250, RVF400/RS250, NSF125.

I can imagine the agony you have gone through. I felt bad for you.

That is why, I am very particular when purchasing especially 'used' vehicle(s).

From groundwork information gathering/research to viewing, to negotiations & to their obligation of providing professional after-sales follow up; if it was purchased from a shop.

 

I will not leave them 'running free with incompetence, unscrupulous selling'.

It must be properly *fairly documented or else,.. better just walk off from the deal.

 

As much, I would like advise on your Burgman 250,400 & 650 Executive(since I had experience with them).

 

Generally, they are reliable.

Having said that, like all motorised vehicles.

You must have some knowledge of spotting faults,failures,possible needed repair works,pricing of parts,availability,upkeep & care.

 

I would rather meet you with your bike in person, to give a probable advise.

There are a lot of variables in those issues.

So far so good :)

 

Anyway .....

 

1) have you guy install a voltmeter on your burg? If so normally where you place it? It would b good if there is a picture :) something like this?

2) Been thinking for a while to install a hepco n becker alu box but also wan side box hmmmm any guys can share pictures? Only manage to find it on a 650

Try jkcommercial. Search for ram mount.

AN650L3 (current): All mod transferred.

Hi Guys just got myself a Burgman and was wondering if there is any meet ups soon where i can learn from the experience ones on self maintenance of the bike and what problems to look out for.

Well to be honest i dint really enjoy my ride after getting off a cbr1ooorr but after 3 weeks i am totally loving it. super pick up an good speed, just nice for sg roads. super smooth.

i met some one outside lim ah boy shop and we had a conversation. are u here as well?
