Just got my cl2. Now waiting for the next batch to arrive.

 

One pc L4 coming in end Dec for LTA inspection which is Grey in color. I m waiting for the White which will be coming Feb/Mar.

 

Now looking which dealer can give better quote. Any recommendation?

My k6 is still at guanhoe workshop since 26 august mechanic han say he need time to repair the scooter, any suggestions guys cannot wait too long..?

Ya lou every 2 wks visit my scoot, feeling likes she is in I C U leh and that stupid 0ld mechanic say cannot repair need more time , I think GH at Autobay should get new and young mechanic , The mechanic even reply me sarcastic that there are bikes in garage 1 year, and he even told me why hurry since I m ridding new scooter already ! Any advice should I complaints Head Office at Rangoon Rd ?..?

actually is wiring systems problem . the previous owners meddle with the wiring fixing hi fi etc.

and the wire harness had being harm .i was ignorant abt it went thought

knee high flood and water soaked the harness

In that case, can't really put it on the mech being slow. It's really not easy to figure out what mods were done. A lot of accessories shop installers just splice convenient points and wrap with the PVC electrical tape which comes off after a short while. Those tapes should be banned, they don't do the job.

 

Changing the water soaked harness is probably the best course. Over time it will corrode and give you endless intermittent problems. Not going to be cheap though.

Changing Full wiring harness is seemingly the best solution.... .

Hope ya scoot comes out from hospital soon. ^_^

Take almost 4 months to inform you on the full replacement. That's not very good.

i went to motor shop in petrol kiosk w/o my consent they took my scoot from tampines to

Bt Batok they cannot ascertain the pt telling crab and bull stories .1 wk gone so i tow it to auto bay

and i think those motor shop mechanic cannot fix advance electronic systems.but complicate and aggravate

the matter .That why the mechanic Han said he needs times and so three mths ..

Actually advanced electronics easier to fix, you need to have the equipment.

 

Most systems have built-in diagnostics and are able to detect faults. Its only when things like the wiring turns bad, it will not be able to do its job which is also why we need to avoid installing poor quality accessories or accessories from dubious manufacturers and avoid workshops who only know red-to-red and black-to-black means all ok. Low quality electronic accessories can produce digital noise which interferes with the bike electronics and these are really difficult to figure out.

you know the mechanic don't even understand the word Check

and speculate on the Head lights switch .i had to tell him its ignition

Seems like sales strategy has changed... FOR THE BETTER

 

No more exclusivity to certain shops.

At least for Burgy650. 1st shipment for 2014 is 10pcs

Burgy400 & 200 will have more of course.

Pricing wise should be tantalizingly benchmarked lower than other Jap counterparts.

All those looking @ new scooters can have something to look forward to.

 

Apparently our SG version L3 & L4 are same.. aka Transition model.

Diff from US/EU version.

That explains why the matt grey color version actually will be launched as 2014 model in US/EU

Also very interestingly.

Our SEA version does not have the immobilizer system. which has pros & cons of course.

Anodise, Guan Hoe or Suzuki quite aggressive this year. Many new models launching... Dunno you got notice or not.

 

Pete, next time guan hoe cannot fix, push next door. RS motor. My regular mechanic... IMO he is quite good at diagnose ****... Lol
