Just changed the stopper bolt,looks exactly the same size. Now only worried abt the cvt belt,I jumped into getting the 650 too soon haha

My original bolt is a copper/gold color,the new one is the silver color one. Both are the same size,never seen the black one before. It's from which year? Any thought of when to change the belt?read it's abt 160K..

I guess you bought back the correct and same one.

Did you check the part number?

Pre-2013 should be

21748-10G10

 

Post 2013 onwards using

21748-10G20

Guess I bought the older one,got the part number from somewhere 21758-10G10, the original one I had was 21758-10G00 Didn't realize there is a newer one..thanks bro!

she doesn't like the looks of PCX or Vespa, she seems surprisingly happy with burgman so i'm doing some research

 

my biggest concern will be price

 

650 is out of my budget, for 28k i can get bikes such as tracer or C650

 

so my question is:

 

1) what is the machine price of 200 and 400?

2) what is the fuel consumption of 200 and 400?

C650 vs B650.. u can go find out from ex C650 owners most of them now riding Tmax...

Tracer is manual bike... not apple to apple compare.

Its like telling hardcore VW beetle or Mini Cooper fans why not get a BMW/Merc/Audi

In normal mode. Anyway i have installed the G2 street throttle tamer and it resolved the heavy engine braking by about 50% and the compromise is that the bike has a more gradual pick up, something which i can live with.

 

And yes, i scrapped the main stand about 3 times now and it wasn't aggressive riding : ) Next is to improve the suspensions which suck. Anyone done it on their 650?

 

Riding an 07 650. Changed to Ohlins suspension 2 yrs ago. Never regret but cost was $1.3k+.

Gear Driven similar to Shaft.. cannot take too thin an oil.

It is of a higher viscosity to better protect the gear
