SBF Majesty 250/400 Cafe 2009 / 2010

Hi all, my yp250 recently got this whistling sound - not a cheeky scooter ok ...

Sometime can hear, quite faint high pitch beep................. long tone sound.

When the tone appears, i try switch off ignition immediately, still can hear it faintly getting softer, then, no sound. Very difficult to catch the sound source.

 

Wondering is it the rectifier is going to KONG soon.

 

Anyone have this experience/solution to share ??

Maybe when the system is charging, the internal plate vibrate.

 

Battery is a yuasa fill n seal super4 type battery just change in Nov08, and is place lying on side in the majesty. Wonder why so fast batter got sound already ??

Battery still can start engine leh, only during idling the headlight is not as bright as when just changed time.

hmmm u mean Yuasa one fit the side ?? how much u bought? model?

 

anyway orginal bat is about 120-140..... but can charge lying sideways... while others may not charge that properly/....

because i notice the head lights and signal lights very bright than usual.

The meter light getting dim due to some bulb blow out leow ....

Reason is it might be overcharging the batt .

Anybody change rectifier before? Reason?

i just change my mangtic coil l 7 feb 09 >

 

THE mangtic coil cost $380 ( mine "burn out") luck i got "battey meter" it slowly went down until it show 8 V on my anolog meter then die off ON EXway

 

2nd yr i already got the indicate "oil can" light on and off do not waht is the problem carry on ridding until this yr chang coil LOL .

 

"sys-ton" is cant start with "orange can" light up then wait for a few min then can start bike as per normal . error cod is 50+ can remeber the code no liao pa si

Is your trip/odo meter in miles or km? mine is in miles!

The original windscreen doesn't suit my height(1.72m) cause lots of turbulence! Now I'm using a shorter sportsscreen(smooth airfrow)

By the way, i am planning a trip to Malacca and I want to get a new belt. Anyone knows where can I get it? The agent wants $195 for the belt.
