Hey guys, was wondering how much a brand new X1R cost now. Asked a couple of shops and was quoted 5.4k and 5.8k OTR. Is that the going rate or did I ask the "wrong" shops and it could be purchased for a cheaper price?

Don't know if that's normal but seems kinda steep considering the fact that I had no claims for the past 5/6 years of riding. If I remember correctly the insurance for my drz & runner (both 3rd party fire & theft) was just above 700 dollars.

maybe insurance premiums went up again or probably it's a yamaha bike. usually yamaha bikes have higher insurance rates, lowest is suzuki.

go try axa? my insurance from ntuc was 1k months ago. recently i called axa and it was only 500+. both third party.
