Hello fellow riders.

My stock x1r has been having rattling sound when cold idling since the day I overhauled my engine. Went back to the bike shop and they changed the cam tensioner. However it did not help much, it just makes the rattling sound stop sooner when the engine is slightly warm.

The mechanic said it shouldn't be any problem. But I suspect it has got to do with the timing chain.

I would appreciate advice from you guys.

Guys I just got my x1r 08 today and it stalls sometime when idling, went back to shop to tune up the idling but still it happens.

Can anybody enlighten me?

dude, look for a better mechanic ... might be the air and fuel ratio wrongly tune

hi any idea where I can fix my headlight? im not referring to the two main headlights right below the head of x1r, im referring to the left and right side of the bike. heard if put LED light can considered illegal and can get fined by lta. help me out x1r guys, thanks in advance.

Headlight not supposed to put LEDs.

LEDs more for the pilot lights, small T10 bulbs.

Yes, LEDs are considered illegal as they do not come stock with bike, ascertained by LTA.

Hi all, I've changed my suspension today for my X1-R and it was much higher than the previous one. However, the main stand of the bike become a bit unstable, as if it will fall anytime. Anyone experienced the same?

nope, because i never change to a wrong length suspension.

Hi guys. Im riding x1r and i just encountered one problem. When my bike is moving off, there is a 'tok' sound and slight restriction. when i open up my throttle to speed up the tok sound frequency increases. Changing of gears is ok. However when my bike is idling, there is no sound. Anyone encounter this b4? Could it be clutch plate or gearbox? Opinions are greatly appreciated. TIA

Dude, maybe one of the screws on your chain guard is in contact with your chain
