It is there for a reason. Ive seen small metal particles trapped there before. Especially after my very first oil change.

i think the main purpose of the strainer is to prevent something big enough from damaging the pump. also it warn us things might not be doing well in the engine if we start seeing debris there.

2) where do you all plce d temp sensor? Do i need to drill a hole at d engine casing? Haha!

Thanks,

For the 1st question, mileage you cant reset. For Trip A and B, when you are at the Trip A/B section, just press the button for like 2 seconds and the number will reset. Same goes for the top speed & RPM.

2nd question, for the temp sensor, you will need to buy the adaptor which is sold separately.

Its abit of trial & error and will need GPS to see the speed and calibrate the percentage to make it 99.9% accurate. Its quite hard to explain in words but actually very easy to do.

Im trying to find a way to post pics of hw to set the speed & share with everyone on the Spankers facebook page. :)

Hi guys other then ohlins... Wat other rear suspension

For spark 135 .. I need something harder..

The latest one for Spark is Hyperpro. Its too expensive like Ohlins.

A much cheaper solution will be the YSS. There's two models. One with canister & one without.

To spend so much for a Spark's rear shock, i find it abit wasted. Would rather get a Hyperpro steering damper! :thumb:

Okay for the koso, for now set your percentage between 95-97%. Thats like 90% accurate if you do not have GPS. After meeting so many spark riders, i can say about 80% of them, their speed percentage is 110-120%. That is totally inaccurate and its sad that they do not have a single clue about it. Hahaha!

103-105 I think not bad. You set at 95-98 dangerous, in KPE you on 80km/h kena flash already. Just my 2 cents.

KPE top speed is 70km/h. Of course ride at 80km/h kena flash lah. :slapforehead:

Stock meters are off by 20kmh +/-.

By setting at 95-97% your speed displayed on the meter will be quite similar to the speed displayed on car speedometers & GPS. That is the speed that you want so that you can judge your speed when passing by speed cameras. It is also to get an accurate distance & mileage reading.

Because if your speed is not accurate, no point monitoring your mileage per tank as it is totally not accurate. Get what i mean?

When I installed your Koso meter I already calibrated your speedo with my GPS and it was accurate already but you said you prefer the percentage to be higher because you feel your bike speed is too slow. -__-

Why wanna cheat your feelings by displaying a false speed on the speedo so that you feel your bike is moving fast when its not?

Might as well put the percentage to 200%.

3rd gear can reach 200kmh already. Just my 2 cents too. :p

KPE flash only at 83km/h on car speedo. Maintain at 80km still okay. You know KPE, people like to go faster when no camera.

You parked at where the mcriders always park or near the 7-11?

Anw, you can check thru AXS machine if got saman or not as it will be updated faster than the letter would come.

If i were you I would have appealed for leniency first and if he persist to saman then argue with him. Hahahaha.
