it is only 800ml because you can't drain all the oil out. there will always be some old oil in the engine unless you overhaul your engine everytime you change it.

just follow what the manual say. the engineer know what they are recommending. do check your engine oil level from time to time to ensure the oil level is sufficent.

Ok. Roger that Bro Iso. Will change 900ml with oil filter change DIY next week. Thanks.

Agree with you. WY is a lil bit on high side although they have a wide range of everything. I'm getting the YSS w/o canister, just good enough for my daily riding.

Ride Safe.

since isopropyl said yss only last a year?any brand that can last at least more than 2 years?can't be keep changing right?
Its a case of some people can ride a bike for years without any major problems but some only ride the bike for a few months already got major problem. Just like how someone can still be using the same model of handphone for many years with no problem but another person might already destroy it in less than a year.

just pour 1L in cause your new oil filter will absorb the rest of the extra engine oil de haha no issue on pouring more de ma but there will be alot of issue on pouring fewer

then what suspension you use?
Stock and its still going strong after more than 3years. Thing is I do not weigh 90kg or more and I look after my bike like it was my own child.

btw how to know whether we need to change our rear suspension?and is it true when we feel e so called shock when we go over the hump means we have to change the rear suspension?do guide me :)

Its time to change when you corner & your bike is like bouncing too much or whenever you go over a hump or hole, your bike bounces several times. Also look at the shocks if there is any oil leakage. If there is, its time to change also.

Hi Guys. I just ride this Spark135 RX without clutch for 2 weeks already. Bought a 2nd hand one but as good as new cause of the Low Mileage. The Engine oil is how many ml? Anyone here knows?

Its actually engraved at the engine casing. You can see "800ml" there.

any1 know how much the original footrest with rear cost??

Check with LAB. I know they are selling. Price wise I don't know. Confirm less than $100 coz I saw one uncle pass to him a $50 note with a couple of $10 notes.

Since its still new & we have not heard any reviews about it, its best to not buy it first unless you wanna be the first to try & give us a review? :thumb: But I wont take the risk since its an unknown brand. Its like I buy a shock with no brand then i paste "Lim Ah Wan" there. Will you buy it? Hahahaha.

True story.

Ya. YSS is good. I saw someone mention is round 100 for YSS. Better go for YSS. Differrence how much only. If don like YSS can go for KYB.

But need to take note KYB comes in three colors. White, Yellow & Red. Diff colors have diff hardness level, something which many people do not know.

Agree with you. WY is a lil bit on high side although they have a wide range of everything. I'm getting the YSS w/o canister, just good enough for my daily riding.

See you soon with your new monoshock! Hopefully this wednesday. :thumb:

when my stock monoshock got soft i changed to YSS and it last me only nearly 1 year before it start to bounce.

YSS with or without canister?

since isopropyl said yss only last a year?any brand that can last at least more than 2 years?can't be keep changing right?

Its more to a case by case basis. I know many riders who are using their monoshocks for 3-4 years and still doing fine. Like what Duo said its true. Some ppl use their chain & sprockets & can last for 2-3 years. Some within 1 year gone case liao.

but duo which brand you recommend for me of 90kg?yss or kyb?btw, whats the difference between without canister and with?confuse

For you I will recommend the YSS with canister due to the combined weight of you & your pillion. With canister, its much more stiff due to more gas/oil in the canister.

p/s: Some say inside contains gas, some say its oil. Im assuming its oil btw. :)

just pour 1L in cause your new oil filter will absorb the rest of the extra engine oil de haha no issue on pouring more de ma but there will be alot of issue on pouring fewer

You are absolutely wrong. Too much oil can affect the movements in the engine as its too full. Try running in the sea. When your legs are only covered in water up to your ankle, you can run easily. But when your legs are covered up to the knee, you're gonna have difficulty in running. Now imagine your legs are the piston & conrod & the sea is the engine oil.

who is david?
