Yeaaap correct.

Curious, what you do with the left over eo sia.

clean chain? lubricate other parts?

Btw, is 900ml or 1.15l?

See the manual online put 800 ml periodic change, 1.15l total amount.

I have the original manual that I got with my bike. It states 900ml if oil filter changed.

The leftover you can use to lube your chain or keep for afew more oil change cycles till you have a bottle of 800/900ml and use it for the next service.

there are 3 figures.

800ml is amount of oil to add when change engine oil only.

900ml is amount of oil to add when change engine oil with oil filter.

1.15L is the total engine oil capacity.

Hi All. I just want to ask whether is there any effect if we pour more or less EO

into our engine? Just started riding:-)

As per someone early on, the acceleration might feel sluggish.

not good to have too much of something

My front brake lever failed to return back fully and it cause the brake light to light up all the way.. I checked the switch and lever all in working condition. could it be the lever worn off part of the metal and prevent to activate the switch to off the brake light.

plus minus abit is fine. don't have to be test-tube accurate. just don't go the extreme way.

as a precaution, i check my oil level every 500km to be safe.

get it check by a mechanic as this can be dangerous.

if you are sure that the front brake lever is working, how to you know it is the front brake that is causing it?

did you check the foot brake? there is a nut to adjust the brake light sensitivity for the brake pedal.

There is the contact at the front brake lever to engage the rear brake lights.

It might be that your lever is worn and the switch is constantly engaged or not.

Do check it thoroughly.

My switch was constantly engaged, :(

If you push the lever back fully the brake light is off, this cfm is the front lever.. i will go with the brake lever replacement.

You using stock lever or aftermarket? Aftermarket levers have this problem as the portion that should depress the brakeswitch is slightly shorter, missing the brakeswitch by just about 2-3mm. So what shops will do is extend that portion by inserting a rubber hose. It is hard to understand unless you have seen an aftermarket lever fitted on Spark.

If this problem is on stock lever, all you have to do is loosen the nut that holds the lever slightly and spray WD40 at the joint. Press the brake afew times & see if now your brake lever releases fully after you let it go.

Another problem might be the 'spring' in the brake pump. Due to wear & tear, it fails to push out your lever once you depress it.

For those who encounter problems such as front brakeswitch always depressed & 'stuck', try spraying WD40. Don't listen to your mech when he says change it. Try first. If cannot then change.

your statement is contradicting.

Can I ask what causes the headlight to be weak? Previously it's kinda bright or "normal" but this morning till now, it's just like not enough power.

These happens when the bike is idling. No problem when moving though.

Idling speed too low? Means when you rev the light becomes brighter? If yes, then the idling speed too low.

Its pretty much 'normal' whatever you define it as. It will brighten up when you throttle. Or the haze overcome the brightness of your headlight.
