Ah nono not at all. We can use the block and all. I'm just saying that the fz150 is fuel injected, like a bit wasted.

yea.. but i prefer the india's version of the fz150.. other than that, i think its better to upgrade to the vixxion kit as its diasil..

LOL! Projecting this bike was my inital plan but after being retrenched and with the bad economy, plan was given up.

Instead, aimming low. Just modifying this bike to perform well for the streets. =) Think i should be just going for the vixion 150cc big bore kit as a base.

No point. The best is to ask a very reptuable bike shop to sumbit a letter to LTA to ask them approve the pipe. That will be more effective but a bike shop would only do that if there is a demand.

Even if LTA would to approve the pipe, the fees paid by the bike shop to LTA would be bombastic thus the price of the pipe wouldnt be affordable anymore. That explains why GPR cost so much.

well. for a pipe to be certified it must pass through the emissions rules here first. den it must be registered in the country of the manufacturer that tests have been conducted. then it comes to the issue of NOISE. thats where the silencer plays a part. i already contacted motoworld and yoshimura japan. that yoshi exhaust is a street sports. its not legal in sg roads. no jmca cert comes along with it.

regarding the 150cc vixion kit, i'd definitely recommend ppl to get it. its original yamaha stuff ppl. but as they say, the more power you expect out of a cub. the more fuel it sucks la. u cant have more for less right? somethings gotta be sacrificed. its all about.. can u afford it? price of mods plus frequency of refuelling?

Thrash? Don't mind if i do.

tank size roughly 4L or so. FC around 35-40km/l. EO usually depends, 1500km - 2500km. Oil filter and sparkplug every alternate EO change. Running in depends too, though most mechs suggest 800km-1000km.

individual bikes individual riders individual preference. hope this helps. anybody else care to share..?? :thumb:

All 4 stroke bikes have roughly the same timeline for maintenance.

For all those requiring oil change soon, i stumbled upon a great deal for Kups...

At Unique Motorsports:

$18 PACKAGE (Usual Price: $24)- 1x Maxima Extra 15w50 Fully Synthetic Engine Oil

- Workmanship

$23 PACKAGE (Usual Price: $32)- 1x Maxima Extra 15w50 Fully Synthetic Engine Oil

- 1x regular spark plug*

- Workmanship

for the price the oil was going for once, it now comes with a spark plug as well and most importantly, it is fully synthetic!

i believe this is one of the cheapest in Singapore now and i do not want my fellow bros to miss out...get ur oil changed today....

Agreed on the yoshi pipe discussion. =) But i do believe some hardcore spark fanatic or spark fanatic would purchase the pipe at that hefty price tag. For now, what we can do is to use GPR or go paste a yoshi sticker on your end can to make yourself feel better. LOL.

150cc kit, looks like i'm going for it. Since i'm going for an overhual, no point changing it back to the original ones when the price difference isnt huge. =)

well if you think you can trust your shop, then why not? or you could go to an honest and reputable shop like maybe HKL, Unique etc where they can do a proper check, tell you whats wrong and quote you..

For $50 its cheap. I got mine pressed for around $60. The best is to send your bike for a through check. =)
