did 428 chain - S$18 (bought from ban hong leong)

suspension bought from Panjang (the chinese one) - RM$90 QBEE... (

 

you can buy YSS suspension from United Impex for S$45.. made in thailand...

along the road to regina/ah boy... its on the left just before regina/ah boy.. very easy to spot coz outside the shop always gt display vespa bike...

 

United Impex (Singapore)

at rowell rd.. near chong aik i think...

 

Panjang (JB)

at Bapok Lane in JB.. beside Ah Boy JB..

yo guys, since my x1 is my side bike, im thinking of doing some mod to it.. My first target, to make bike pick up faster.. Any suggestion?.. I heard racing cdi can make pick up fast?, if true where to buy and how much?... Thanks guys...

to make pick up faster, change your carb or rebore the stock carb.. i think fast throttle will help also..

low maintenance = yes.. for the past 1 year.. i only change my eo 3 times.. and spark plug only once..

low fc = yes between 40-45km/L...

 

however, please note that X1 is no longer in production, therefore, you will be getting an aging bike..

 

but alot of mechs i spoke too agree that the best kupkia to own is a WAVE.. maybe because it is HONDA..

there is one for $1k coe until 2015 do u think it is worth it??yeah alot of people said wave better..i not sure..headache which to choose as my transportation..ahhahahah

are you looking for racing footrest or are you looking for stock footrest? I have a used yoshi racing footrest (gold colour) at home and if you are interested, you can pm me ur best price...

hey guys. i've just bought myself a racing boy rim for my x1.its the one wif 8 rims. i was thinking of asking a bike shop in sg to fix it up for me. what would be the going rate for that kind of service? thanks guys:P

Btw guys pls enlightened me, where is the CDI located in the X1???

 

hey bro,

 

the cdi is located under the right side fairing (on top of the battery area), near the seat :D

Hey guys, i just got my X1 recently. Need to ask some questions here!

 

I heard that X1 cannot do alot of mods, be it the pipe, engine or exterior? Is it true? X1 riders out there, what are the things i can mod?

 

What petrol you all use for X1? X1 is a low end bike, i believe it dosen require a high end petrol? true?

 

Maintenance wise, usually what you all change and how long once? Spark plug? black oil? And servicing, usually you all service what?

There are no legal pipes for X1, and it can run on 92 petrol no problem.

 

Maintainence is subjective to individuals.. I change my oil every 2k, plugs at the every 2nd servicing.

Eh, I don't know about that. In fact my pipe was modded by the previous owner and I changed it back to stock.

 

I just find that running on 92 is suffice, why pay more for the same effect? I tried before 92, 95, 98, Vpower.. No difference to me.. or maybe my butt no feeling one. o_O

As long when you are running on 92 and no engine pinging.. it is ok.
