For me i will drag till 4 then i change gear...sometimes if u change gear @ high RPm...Gear a bit difficult to shift,my 2 cents.

er.. u enqure on fazer 6 or fazer 1 ?

Actually for fazer 6, the engine is design to be high rev, which means during high rev u can feel the power different. For fz 6 when u go up to 6000 rpm and above u can feel engine power.

For FZ1, I normally change @ 4~5k range in peak hours.

Other than that, > 7k during off peak hours to feel the engine pulling me apart.
