Went down today, my bike is still in pieces. It is stripped of its exhuast swingarm, seat, tank, rear wheel, suspension, rear mudguard, etc. Basically, only the front end, engine and main frame was there. I could see that the swingarm was cut and being prepared to be extended by additional steel tubings. Looks like, they only started not very long ago. Perhaps, the real work started only yesterday. :( So nothing much to see except a stripped cg125 for the moment.

no offence har, i tell you abt youe set up

the polyclinic bottle will crack and leak below.this is what happen to me.

my stainless steel valve 1 side is thread so 1 can use a nut to secure it.(got put a rubber washer to act as a o-ring)1.50sgd

1M of "hard" air hose(0.5sgd/M)

what i do

the container is the orange vitamin tablet put inside the water.

drill a hole smaller than a thread(valve) at the bottom of the container

screw in the value(add a rubber washer between the value and container

use a nut to secure the valve(inside container)

use a 2.5mm electrical cable slot into the pipe(for better flex of pipe)

will show u all on the next meet up

I would like to check... you mean the lubricating oil will melt the bottle?

My idea did not involve any damage to the actual bottle itself, but rather I cut 2 holes on the cap. By inserting the tubing through 1 hole right to the bottom of the bottle to suck the oil and another much smaller hole to act as breathing hole. I kept the holes' sizes to the absolute minimum to reduce the possiblity contamination. I use this design because I wanted to minimize the possibility of unwanted leakages.

The idea of using a flexible wire or cable to allow better flexing also came to my mind. But I will leave it to the last moment when I install it onto the bike.

I really love your system because you really maximise the bang for your buck with your setup.:thumb:

Supposed to be next saturday. Today is to check the progress. When I brought the bike in on monday, the boss said that he needed 2 weeks to get the bike done. Mainly he has too many bikes to do at hand. From what I see on my 2 visits, he wasn'y joking. Seems like a lot S'poreans like to customise their rides too. I wonder why aren't there more shops doing what they did.

I estimate to be just below $1K by the time I am done. I know it sounds crazy, but I just wanted a really unique bike and it is for keeps so I think it is worth it. Call it blind lust :lovestruck:.

Heck, there could be more small changes along the way. But at least the major mods would be done.

BTW regarding the bottle leakage, is it due to too much exposure and caused the plastic to break down or the oil caused it? Thanks for your feedback.

As for riding up north, not at the moment. Need to help look after baby and not enough leave. Thanks for the invite though. :)

Hurray, I just confirm that will get bike by saturday. Looked a little different from what I envisioned, but heck cares because it still looks good. A mixture of bobber and rat. Cannot wait to ride it. :)
