Think that time my gasket drop out .. that time drop i guess.

 

Anyway, new troubleshooting that need help with.

 

There is this screw that is sticking out of the carb towards the right (pointing outwards) . Is that the idle screw ?

There is this screw that is at the mid area of the carb, pointing downwards. Is that the air/fuel mixture screw ?

 

Recently I've been playing around with these 2 screws to see if I can get better performance (lols~ ) but think I kinda screw up a little.

 

Just now when I was planning to go back, the bike stalled after a while (while idling) and it sounds like the idle is too low .

After that, I kick again, and it became ok.

 

After riding out for a few hundred meters, the bike jerk and lose power, something like you would experience when you're out of petrol .

 

And so I thought was the petrol issue, so I pushed the bike to the petrol station and pump. However, I could only hit 5L before it gets almost full. So I presumme when the **** happens, I was still having enough petrol .

 

After I start the bike, the same thing happen. Stalling while idling.

 

I whack the rev a little, then when I was going out of the kiosk, the same thing happen. Jerking and such.

 

Finaly solution? I spend some time turning the screws here and there and I managed to ride home safely.

 

 

So I would like to know if I've gotten the screws right, and what does it do by turning it in each direction (clockwise, anti-clockwise)

 

Please don't give me answer like "Why you go geh kiang turn here turn there" .. Thanks .. Because already turn, so I would like to understand more about these 2 screws I'm playing with and learn more about my bike.

A 125 is always a 125.dun be a cgx125.

anyway, any idea where I can get a second hand or first hand cg exhaust pipe? Mine broke already. Due to the rust and such.

bike still can move .. but oh well, it becomes an eyesore and I'm not sure of the potential hazards ..

dude u live in pasir ris? lol think i saw ur bike there .. u wearing sp shirt if im not wrong

call united , they might have china pipes. can use lah, no problems. maybe not as rust resistant as original ones but its quite cheap. that is if u want to change la..

 

anyway for the carb screws. add me on msn. will explain to u there. very hard to tell u here. but , the one pointing outwards with a spring visible is the idle screw. the one at the bottom is the fuel/air ratio screw. there's alot more than just adjusting this 2 screws that messes with the performance. add me up sevenz91@live.com.sg

haha ok , think i'll call united about it. Actually I quite settled with all the rusty thingy and such .. but then .. today at my mscp , saw this nicely reconditioned rxk. tempt me to get all my parts shining LOL!

nvm about that its not about you. haha.. rust is inevitable lah.. if want everything shiny. buy new pipe, go jb high polish ur engine block and whatever thats not shiny. haha.. what i plan to do on my rusty header is to just sand down.. spray black hi temp paint. and than use thermal wrap. but i dun know where to buy them. haha.. very lazy go find :/

guys. i need help. the problem with my cg is, i changed the 12v battery 3 months ago. till now it still have the power ( as in it is not dead yet =] ). but i just cant start up the bike. i spent a good half an hour kick start it. horn tested, signal lights tested, headlight tested, back light tested, all are doing fine. really need help. thanks alot. =)

Your cg I think is 6v series as is AT plate.

Clean the contact point and try again...got petrol a not?

not sure about whats wrong but maybe u might want to get it check at a shop.

 

and where can we get the oil filter for our bike ? im guessing mine is ancient alr.

Got a dent on right,but patch up.no leakage.made in Japan tank.

Your cg I think is 6v series as is AT plate.

ya. it is a 6v series one. but convert it to 12v already cause of the IU unit. got petrol lei. full tank somemore. haha. hmm. contact point. how to check? is it the battery contact point? thanks tonychan.

Hi guys. Sorry to bother, I am actually riding a CB100 and I am rebuilding my bike now. I am looking for new fenders but it is very hard to find original CB100 fenders right now. I saw the CG125 front fender and it look quite similar to a CB100, may I know any shop in SG sell CG125 original fender now?
