Re : Accident @ AYE towards Jurong, RVF/Fireblade flew right in front of me

I witnessed an accident right in front of my eyes at the above-mentioned just now around 10:15pm.

I was driving my car with my fiancee on the 3rd lane and I happened to be looking to my right at this Fireblade riding behind the left rear of a car on the 1st lane when suddenly, his bike fish-tailed to the left and he was trying to control and in like a blink of an eye, I saw him flew over the bike, rolled and hit several vertical railings of the central divider.

Gez his speed? I was going at 70+km/h and he was a lil' faster. He was going around 80+km/h. U can imagine, he was flying faster than I was driving my car..

I felt the need to stop but I was blocked by cars all around. Ironically, the car travelling behind him was quick to react and stopped in time instead of hitting his already scrapped & sparkling bike..

My fiancee turned around and saw that he didn't got up. When he hit the last railing, I saw that he was clutching his helmet. And guess what was he wearing? A raincoat with bermudas and sandals or slippers, I think.. He was a Chinese around 1.75m - 1.8m tall.

My past experience with my old RXZ when I fishtailed @ 90km/h on a wet road along AYE just past Alexandra due to an irresponsible car tells me that he had accidentally stepped a lil' too hard on his rear brake.

My advice to smaller riders out there..

1) When it rains, use the left most lane.

2) Make sure U wear pants and long-sleeved. Better still, jackets or anything..

3) Make sure all ur lights are working..

4) Ride F*****g slow..

5) To those that just passed ur licence and rides those X1, Spark-Z, Wave, 125Z; please don't ACT as if you own the road and BLOODY skillful cause for all you know, you could be blowing an experienced rider Class 2 or WORST still, blowing at a TP/ROV whom is riding an RXZ. :)

We don't need your skills on the road. Thanks eh!

Ride safely. It's the monsoon season..
