Actually, it shouldn't be termed back rest, but more like bum rest.

They don't really support your back, to be honest. At most the upper hip. Haha.

Imagine from DT125i, then ride the Burgman 400, macham like only engine cc upgrade. Size and all, still largely the same. Haha.

MaxSYM 400i is good, but only if its cheap on the used market. Or else, will be waiting. Haha. I don't find any value in buying brand new and I don't wanna take the brunt of the most depreciation. Hehe. My current DT125i is an exception. =D

Xciting is seriously too sporty for me liao. Plus new engine, gotta give Kymco some time to iron out the problems. Personally, I don't think it's wise to get the first few batches, or should I say, for the first few months of production.

Don't be so eager to cut the cake.

Too tired and too dark to take photo then. Tomorrow :)

I mounted it in the middle of the steering. I went with the option you don't like. Drilled 2 holes in the middle of the steering plastic :p

Just saw a removable option for the cage. If removable option is available, have to take out again and re mount.

Went with the option for a water bottle cage as while riding in Malaysia, thirsty but no water. If have water, cannot twist open the mineral water bottle cap.

Saw rider have the camelbak option where they carry the water bag on their back and sip through a tube. Too troublesome and need to clean and the strap i feel is uncomfortable and adding weight to body. How much do you want to drink? 1 to 2 liters?

I bought from bicycle shop Rodalink @ RODALINK JURONG KECHIL

110 Jalan Jurong Kechil #01-02 Sweebi House, Singapore 598606

Most bicycle will have cages and different brand but price will be different.

I bought mine at $11

Just realised that Kymco doesn't have good branding =(

Was at the Honda dealer here in USA, and Kymco here is just as cheap as KeeWay, and the other China branded scooters sold here, in the City/ State of Dallas, Texas. Spare parts support is poor too, with only a few dealers around this huge city.

And over here in the US, motorcycles are classified under "Recreational Vehicles", so the insurance, tax and all are different from cars. But true that, since USD8k buys a brand new SilverWing 600 here, but the same USD8k can get a pretty decent used sedan too.

5yrs ago while I was here, only huge Trucks and SUVs were on the road, with plenty of Hummer H2's. Now, it's a 50-50 mix of SUVs+Trucks and Sedan cars.

Motorcycles were a rarity 5yrs ago too. Now, it's getting more and more common on the roads here. Just goes to show how sensitive people around the world are to petrol (they call it gas here) prices. Gas Prices for regular are USD3.89/gallon, and Premium at USD4/gallon. 1US gal = 3.8L.
