Got a bike from this sales man leonard there , he seems helpful and responsible .

Erm , the price is reasonable but just that my insurance is damn ex cause am below 21 . Lol .

 

Any way quite good service from him . Responsible =)

different people seem to have differnt experiences when over there, some like the place and some just can't stand it...so doing a survey this way is not going to be easy...

 

to make it easier though, y dun u get ur bike from a shop which has majority approval and not one that u will be 2nd guessing all the way as to whether u will become a 'carrot' or not?

 

if u looking for 2nd hand bikes, i strongly recommend the Used Bike Sales section.

For brand new bikes, visit more respectable shops maybe like Loois' Motor. Maybe u will have to fork out abit more but there are very little hidden costs with them...

Dear biker, pls think and think clearly before u get bike from this shop.. I had very bad experience with this shop sales man who call Andy with is dunno wat is customer service and always push the ball away when facing problem. Totally piss of with this shop.. Said different thing before u pay deposit and did difference after payment.. Damn.

same here, same Salesman also, TOTALLY REGRET leyy..... their connection with speedway is also same but atleast speedway is a bit better, thay cant even do or change a bloody thing to your bike when its have problem, always end with the words "its the way you ride, your fault mah".. WTH!!

So far the 'homework' tells me that the solution to all bike problems is Planet Motors @ Ubi. Rebuild engine at Motorpoint and shop for accessories and cheap chain lube ($3.50!!) at Motoworld

I think it's up to individual. I faced problem at albert then change to imotoring, if they give problems, it's time to change! It is you (having the $) making the decision, end of the day, you are the one signing the papers. If u think it's unreasonable, f**k care dont sign loh.

 

Most or all bike shop are there to chop, it's either chop more or less.

 

I agree with regular going there can neg and get cheaper rates. things is, they got experience with u is better, they will think, will this customer pay finish the bike or half way repo, or own how months instalment? I bought 3 bikes from them, so far still not bad, even the first one!

Try to get forum bike but do inspection at bike shop. It's the best of both worlds since forum sellers can and do "carrot" by false advertising. I have seen anything from a nice exterior to hide non functional brakes and poorly tuned stock carbs labelled as "racing", etc.

 

You can then decide to do the insurance & transfer yourself or let the shop handle it.

 

There's no free lunch, so keep a lookout for suspicious deals anywhere, be it shop or private sales.

personally i feel they see people..

they do give competitive prices to regular customer that is for sure..

 

but for me i will never ever walk into the shop again..

but i do have friend who still buy bike from them and the prices are competitive..

at the end of the day.. do you homework.. if the price it ok then buy.. if not then move onto another shop.

Service charge for what? Waiters serve food and drinks while bike is being serviced?

 

I doubt that things like insurance, COE, etc are GST-chargeable as GST may be already included in such things as insurance premiums.

 

It sounds very much that someone thinks he's above the law and can carrot everyone he pleases.
