i found 3 places carrying Krauser K2 panniers parts. (our model) but only 2 of them sells the strap you are talking about.

1 from Netherlands the other from Germany. Unless u die die have to use them, DIY will be a much cheaper option.........

I think the only way the guy did it was to post any freak msgs irregardless of whether relevant or not. Or maybe just post empty posts lor.
