'VPS' words-what it stands for :confused: is it?? visor plus system guessing!.

 

'Yes' I have seen the sunvisor over the clear visor shown to me by Swift and seen it at chong aik at desker rd...nolan is a good helmet price just not so eXpen$ive but it sponge/cushion get soft after a year or 2. Spare parts no problem always can get from chong aik.

The flip up is not that well balance as most of the weight is on the temple side towards the forehead where the flip up spring mechanism lies. After a long haul ride you can feel it. But for certain advantages you need to sacrifice something....

 

After some FF helmet buying experienced I learn to buy helmet by putting my hand inside at the center and try to balance the helmet to see where the weight is. If the helmet is well balance it dosen't strain's your neck. Lighter the helmet- better it is and it comes more Expensive. And it doen't mean expen$ive helmet is a good helmet, if it dosen't fit you snuggly and gives you a headache and ear pain after a 100km ride.

GOOD NEWS!!

Jackets had arrived!!!

 

COLLECTION DATE: 14 JAN

TIME: 2100HRS TO 2300HRS

PLACE: KFC

 

BAD NEWS!!

Supplier had missed one of the RED jacket :sian:

Now he rush it to SG. Estimated arrival date will be next week.

 

BeeBee, Yappiez n coUguy sori tat one of you will have to delay and wait for another week but I promise you will be b4 CYN.

The existing 2 red jackets will give out in 1st come 1st gv basis, hope you don't mind... :sorry: :sorry:

Hey mate,

 

No worries. Please take care of ur body. I was feeling under the weather till sat as well. Recovered just in time for the trip.

 

Anyway all of us return safe n sound and spent quite some time at the beaches off Lanjut chilling out till we overshot our timing. Without the speed/corner instructors coming, this trip became a very relaxing affairs with speeds of 80-100km/h for most of the journeys. Only when it was clear that we were way behind time that we increased our pace to reach Sg b4 2300hrs. This was also due to the less often(n of cos less direct) routes we decided to take that we managed to clock 450miles. Also did i mention that we stop for 5 meals? *burp*

 

Its time for a deserved rest

 

Next on the menu, another Thailand road trip!! Here we come..

Hi Jleo,

Yo! guys did you try on the yamaha Jacket on this east coast trip, was it warm...or is it ok-for continuous riding.

I try it on- here for an half n hour ride- I find it warm and my t-shirt is wet with my perspire...

Jacket was rather cooling i must say. In fact much cooler than the mesh jacket i have. Perhaps it was bec i chose to use the short gloves n tucked it under the sleeves. At night on the NSH, it was so cooling that it felt cold.

 

Did not had a chance to test the protection against the rain. If any of u guys have experienced it, let me know.

Got my jacket from custom 20 minutes ago... Special delivery by Custom! Thanks!

Spend 10 minutes figuring how to put the armour in.. then another 10 posing in front of the mirror... hahaaa

 

Quality/workmanship is better than my $150 Flux jacket. Hopfully it will be able to hold out the rain like the latter.

 

 

Btw, isnt reunion dinner on the 28th?
