Back from Fraser Hill, it was an enjoyable trip. Have a group of fun tour mates.

The riding was fun, finally get a chance to test my bike at speed at about 200km/h on straight road, with pillion, side and top boxes with full loads, very stable

Sharp cornering with pillion, side and top boxes with full loads, very stable no probelm except the rear sup, too soft and also ganna scatches on lower fairing.

Looking for more trips to come... :thumb: :bouncefire:

 Hi jleo, ur maps which u gave me was very useful during my songkran trip. Although some of the map is not so accurate, but it is good enough for me to find my way around & explore other routes alone along the way, thanks again

At the hill, having problems to catch up with FJR and AT. whahahaha... they are too fast... especially FJR.... :faint:

Are you using the extended skidmarx windshield? If yes, how was the 'pressing-down' by the wind at 200km/h? Was advised to switch back to original windshield during touring. Uglier but at least the wind will really be deflected and the rubber screws wun break.

TP handle bar $95

Is it more difficult to squeeze thru cars now with your new TP handle bar? Need to change your IU bracket?

Hey it is ok for skidmarx when travelling at 200km/hr.

Tested and proven...no worries...

Yes, I am using skidmarx windshield with S.S screw and washer not rubber screw. The windshield was alright, except some vibration during highspeed.

I find that it is not wise to use tall windshield during high speed (180 km/h or above) for prolong period. Due to high pressure on the wind shield, it will cause either the screw parts to give way or the front crawling (black part) to break.

TP handle bar is slightly wider and higher than the original, it gives me a very comfort riding position and better control. Hands, shoulder, back and neck was feeling perfectly alright after about 6 hours of riding.

Squeeze thru cars, I find it alittle bit difficult in the first few days, not used to it.

Origianl bar was below most of the car's side mirror. TP handle bar is either same height as car's side mirror or above depend.

But after getting used to it, it is easy. Every weekday, travel from amk ave 3 to SGH via CTE, at ard 9am. Only takes me about 15 mins.

Do not need to change the IU bracket.

But with TP bar, IU and GPS can fix at the center of the bar.

Yups I strongly agree! Darn high pressure on the extended windshield, think it'll be a better idea to revert back to the original one for touring.

In order to change to TP handle bar, there are 2 items have to change and re-route electrical cables.

1. TP clutch cable.

2. Longer front brake hose, at least 2 to 3 inches longer than original.

Hi gentleman,

Anybody can recommend a bike repair shop for repairing diversion rear brake. My rear brake pad is rubbing against the rotor all the time, and there are some resistant when I try to turn the wheel.

Hi mctan,

When was the last time you flush your brake fluid system...Check your mileage~ if your mileage is very high, I would recommend you to replace pump cups and seals of the brake caliper and brake (foot)lever.

1st- try to flush your rear brake fluid- replace with new brake fluid. if there is an improvement then OK. If not replace all the rubbers as above.

Once serviced, "it should be problem free for another few years."

Casper,

After looking at this reply, One qn i'd ask, would u'd rather take the high screen off n replace it with the originals when u went for the songkran trip?

Oh yes! DEFINITELY!!!

Rather than worrying when the extended windshield will give way...I'll rather sacrifice the 'outlook'.
