> I've fixed up your brake hose already.Cone bearing also changed. Handling and front braking is much better. Now,i'm not satisfied with my front suspension.

Fork seals and oil replaced, yet the suspension didn't "play".

Might it be due to improper repair of fork seals or issit the fork oil? Or issit supposed to be that way(coz i dunno what issit like to use a medium grade fork oil) ? However, the 2 adjustable "nipples" for the front suspension setting near the steering handle can be adjusted with just my fingers without applying much force.I feel something is very wrong here cos that thing can only be adjusted with a small size spanner....and it should be tight, not loose.

Advise needed,please help.....:help:

I think the fork oil is not enough.

How much did the mechanic pour into one fork?

Original is 450ml.

I just changed mine last month, one side pour 490ml.

Or maybe the mechanic forgot to put back some parts. :giddy:

Yes,really hard on..as in if you put down the bike from main stand and it will "sink" down right on with no hydraulic effect on the front. Applying the front brakes and going through humps are way unimaginable for me to describe. Now you know how hard on my shitty suspension is.

I find it just nice for me. Neither too soft nor hard. Not to forget, there is a 7 level adjustment knot for further adjust the softness/hardness.

Hi bro Blackangel,

since the day I bought my divvy, I haven't change my fork oil yet. Anyway I'm going to sanfu this afternoon, going to check with them your problem. Maybe also change my fork oil there.

Hi bro MCTan,

last Sat I tune my bike, change petrol filter n air filter at Combine motorshop, till now when I start my bike in the morning, I don't have to hold on to the throttle.

That's great.

How much did you spend on your tunning and petrol filter?

After warming up, what is your engine rpm?

I think I need to do mine too...

anyway how much is brake pad to change for rear and front ? my rear side is going worn out soon.

lazy to go back threads and check .

:cheeky:

If you find that your bike engine does not have problem, can do it after trip.

As for petrol filter, can DIY. Buy from AM, unscrew the 2 bolts at petrol tank, lift up the tank (best is when tank is almost empty) and you can access to the filter.

I will do it after trip, too rush for me to do it before trip.

The most I help you hold throttle for 15sec when morning engine warm up...

Fork oil, fork seal and service, cost about $95-$110. Depend on which motor shop.

I am using EBC brake pad, $65 ea. So far use it for about 9 months, went to Fraser hill, genting, lobster, durian, Cod fish, clay pot, 2020s, 4040s and daily ride etc.. the pad is still :thumb:

Hi bro MCTan n Swift,

Air filter $55

Petrol filter $28

Workmanship $100

really worth it, they took out the carbrator to open it up, wash n clean every tiny pins and holes. after when they put back the carbrator they'll starter tunning. After warm up, rpm still at 500 to 600. Some more u can feel the power quite different before u wash carbrator n tunning.

Hi Buggers,

How's life...!

Sad that I cannot be with you guys on this trip..there's always...the next trip.

Haroze might do...2 days trip to cherating.! in coming month

Swift you can shine a led torch light into the fuel tank- you can see clearly whether your tank has rust or not...If you always top up your bike up/full to the brim~ you need not to worry much, as rust have no chance to set in. unless water have sipped in somehow. If your fuel tank is clear, means your filter is clean too.

Anyone wanted to change the air filter"$35" or fuel filter"$?" oil filter "$14"(DIY) can get them from Auto Machinary(verdun rd) after buying it from there, then bring it to the workshop to do it...save some dollars on yourself.

This bike "Diversion" is quite easy to maintain you must have the time...thats all.

Doing it yourself 'DIY'...you can save alot on your wallet.

bro, now u don't need, in abt 1 to 2 wk time u see u need or not... :cheeky:

it is the effect of clean fuel system. After tat, u r back to the old. More important is to check ur fuel filter, the dirt at it catches. it will tell u how clean ur tank and ur petorl tat u pump is.

To open simply by remove 2 clips tat hold between the tank and fuel pump.

Rememebr to turn off the fuel supply b4 e above process.

For carbrator serviing, remember to buy the repair kit from Hong Leong so that you can replace the rubber seal at the same time. Else, buy a carbrator cleaning spray, open out the air filter and spary on it. If ur carbrator is clean, the effect will almost the same. All this done, then change the fuel filter.

ur brake hose is stock.

It will wear one side faster than the other.

To me it is a waste of money as the need to change is just 1 pair but due to natural of wear n tear, u have to replace both in front.

Study TP front barking design will tell u tat they have change the old fart up design to a more equal balance.

Avoid SBS at all cost... it damaged my rotor :sian:

Below are pic of my old barke which I just replace it.

Look at the even wear of all the pad..

Use this to compare with urs n they will speak for itself.

PS: I replace it after 10K miles clocked and they are still very thick.
