Guys,

After reading the first few pages of our thread, i realised that the skidmark windshield is the best compared. I am thinking of dropping by biketech21 this Thursday to check on the latest price of the windshield.

Once i get the pricing per windshield in SG$ i will post in the forum again..

I experience the stock windshield is abit not good as the wind could easily blast our body and face away.. I oni managed to clock 110-120mph during my PD trip with my friends. Afterwhich, the bike start to shake and wobble liao. But dun try to take bend at this speed coz its too dangerous and u might loose control of the bike (unless u confident).

Just to share my point of view during my PD trip last Sunday. Overall its a fun one day ride...

Hi Heyrul,

Doing at that speed should not be a problem, some of us have tried more then that- still bike goes steady. Must pump your bike tire to the max 250psi front tire/290psi rear tire, if you intend to speed most of the time, sit closer to tank lean forward, leg lock to tank hands tuck-in nothing sticks outside of the bike and you full throttle dragging each gear almost to its max rpm - see your bike shoots...he,he,hee!!!

Doing this at your own *risk you should know your bikes "inside and out" characteristic and handling before attempting...he,he,heee!!!

*Be responsible :faint:

The one who told me was a malay guy on the third floor. Yes, I have try 180 km/h with the lion head n with my wife too, trying to catch up a STX 1300. Actually can go up somemore but feel like got to slow down (night riding, safety first) don't feel the shake at that speed.

Hi Heyrul,

Nothing to do with the top box or low windshield - tuck your head down~ wind goes over you...Haroze has done with OEM shield but no top box but his body already a sail creating alot of resistance- me on the other hand then with skidmarx windshield and top box we did reach the top speed, we both are side by side...no difference.

Before doing any speed your bike should be in tip top condition and well maintained, doing all those regulars, checkings and servicing.

Then again if you going to do corners look where you are going -YOUR EYES LEAD YOU AND YOUR BIKE FOLLOWS THAT SIGHTED LINE..!!! NEED TO BE INFOCUS at all time. There should be no doubts during the course, mind should be free off everything ~ only enjoy that moment- that you are taking a beautifull corner.he,he,heee! this is very important.

*Do some **ass dropping at corners to counter the weight of your bike and control of the bike while cornering. It helps to keep the bike in a stream line curve.

**like those racers on a GP bikes during corners.

* riding 'solo' theres alot of advantages on doing all those I mention - 'if pillion' sitting on your bike, forget all the above and ride according to the speed limit and behave like a good  boyyyyah!!!

We buggers keep on saying most of the time tires is very important a good tire can make alot of difference by now you should know better. Replace your front brake hose into steel braided type it helps alot during those last minute brakings.
